Old fox Bar & Pub In Montecatini-terme

We hadn't been back to the Old Fox since the (alas remote) days of university in Cattolica, and I have to say that I was very very happy with the experience. Even though it was the Irish night of Saint Patrick, and the place was packed inside and out with very cheerful young people, with the obvious consequences on the service times, the guys on the staff were simply delightful and attentive. The food is absolutely excellent, with quality ingredients carefully prepared. The beer is only local, but with an assortment able to satisfy all palates, and the cider was excellent, as well as explained in detail in its origin and characteristics. In short, well done!

I would like to give 10 stars to the food, the chef managed to make me appreciate the beets, a dish that I generally hate. Not to mention the chocolate browny, I was fainting with pleasure. A welcoming place, a true English pub with that light, authentically decadent touch that makes it even more enjoyable. The friendly and super competent staff, let them tell you about their whiskies Excellent for a beer with friends or an aperitif but I recommend dinner (typical English), it's worth it.

Bazzico questo posto da molto tempo, e c'è poco da dire, posto e qualità eccellenti. Un sushi superiore alla media montecatinese e la possibilità di trovare piatti come le tagliatelle al ragù (che a mio gusto sono meglio di tante trattorie) e il fritto misto di pesce (solo a cena e anch'esso molto valido) rompe un po' rispetto a quello che è un classico sushi, essendo in grado di dare una possibilità di mangiare a quell'amico a cui non piace il pesce crudo. Ve lo consiglio soprattutto per la location e provare l'esperienza di mangiare all'interno di una gabbia per uccelli dorata, provare per credere.

All you can eat uramaki e gamberi buonissimi. Il personale è stato davvero gentile e disponibile. Torneremo presto per provare altri piatti..
