Okasan In Roma

A very nice restaurant with friendly staff. We were excited about the frames and the okonomiyakis! Unfortunately we were a bit disappointed. The okonomiyaki were too thick and not fully cooked in the middle and the meat in the frame was tough... The vir dishes were delicious. But unfortunately the price-performance ratio was not met. Maybe we were just unlucky. I would give the Okasan another chance.

Everything was perfect! The food was simply divine!

Chef's special mango shrimp sushi was amazing, also mango salmon sushi, the staff is very respectful and the place is very decent.

Interesting Japanese near the Vatican

My family and I was travelling Rome. We are living in a country where real Japanese cuisine is non-existent so we were over the moon when we dined here. We dined here 3 times throughout our trip and tried a variety of dishes they have to offer. Food: exceptional! The chefs knew what they are doing and I can’t find a flaw in anything. Hiring the right kind of chefs are important in Japanese cuisine. I am glad they have done it right! However, I had wished they wouldn’t do Americanised sushi with the sauces as we would have ordered more sushi rolls otherwise. My recommendation would be not ordering those saucy sushi rolls, instead try the authentic Japanese dishes. Also, the best sashimis we have had in Europe in a while! We were also lucky to be served tuna belly! Price: reasonable for the quality and portion. Atmosphere: very inviting and comfortable. We have a 2 year old with us and they have made our dining experience so enjoyable. Service: exceptional. Even though they were full house, they were all attentive and very quick. Overall, extremely happy. Definitely a restaurant worth coming!

Great Ramen with rich flavour and perfectly cooked noodles. Cozy atmosphere is cozy and friendly.

Missing only with a real style of a tatami and walking without shoes: internal location divided with a two-person area and levels and composed independently. Locale carino ma un po’ freddo. Abbiamo mangiato abbastanza bene nel complesso. Unica nota negativa è stata che abbiamo ordinato due calici di vino, la cameriera ci h detto che c’era solo come vino alla mescita il vermentino, poi ci ha portato un altro vino Pinot dicendo di essersi sbagliata… vabbè ce lo siamo bevuto e ne abbiamo ordinati altri 2 di calici. La sorpresa è stata trovare nel conto la bellezza di 36€ di vino. Il prezzo lo riteniamo davvero troppo alto in considerazione del vino bevuto e non indicato nel menù. Peccato
