OH!FICOMAECO In Brescia

It was our first time here and we were treated very well. We had made a reservation, so we were greeted and seated right away (outside) by a young man who took our order. The place does NOT serve Pirlo, as we already knew, but the wide selection of highly original cocktails (including non-alcoholic ones) definitely didn't disappoint. For drinks, we ordered a "Meglio in due" (Better in Two), which turned out to be generous, with chickpea flour, turmeric crackers, stuffed puff pastries, dips, Russian salad, and two different types of hummus (the beetroot one was delicious). Practically full but intrigued by the rest of the menu, we ordered a burrito and a burger, the Captain Burger. The burger was simply perfect: the plant-based meat was incredibly juicy, the potatoes perfectly cooked, and the plant-based mayonnaise was incredibly creamy. We were less fond of the burrito; we found it a bit too spicy, but nothing the menu didn't specify. The restaurant is committed to maximum sustainability; there are no plastic bottles, and they serve water in glass or cans. The location is charming and intimate, despite being in a busy park.

Nice place, we ate outside, nice in the summer. The food was expensive for the quality and quantity. We ordered potato rosti and tigelle with hummus. The cocktails were good and well-made, but the service was slow. We had to push to order and ask for napkins. They could be more attentive. Overall, so-so...

The atmosphere, service, and food were exceptional—especially the pulled beef. For us, it's a new go-to vegan spot in Brescia!

Ficomaeco is a wonderful place…excellent vegetarian/vegan cuisine, a welcoming atmosphere, and knowledgeable staff. I've tried several dishes; all excellent and of the highest quality. I highly recommend it. Keep it up, it will continue to be a success…

A truly pleasant, well-kept place with a welcoming atmosphere where you can immediately sense the passion behind it. I'm particularly impressed by the vegetarian options: tasty, original, and carefully prepared dishes. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and makes you feel welcome. You can tell when a place is run with dedication and love. It's one of those places I'm happy to return to, both to relax and to eat well. Recommended for those looking for quality, friendliness, and an excellent vegetarian option!

A rather disappointing evening with friends. The place is aesthetically very nice, with unique, recycled furnishings and surrounded by greenery. First negative note: they brought us a small welcome aperitif. There were four of us, and they brought two appetizers (I've attached a photo). At least one appetizer each would have been appreciated. Second negative note: a friend of mine has several allergies and intolerances. We expected different attention from a place that offers plant-based and gluten-free dishes. Despite calling us, specifying all the ingredients and asking if there were any problems, they sent us the menu and said there wouldn't be any problems. But when it came time to order, they said the only items on the menu she could have were tigelle with hummus and potato rosti. I don't think it's so absurd to be able to prepare a basmati rice bowl with vegetables, a tasty side dish, or something else... She basically ate very little, not cheaply, and paradoxically without even a salad or vegetable to accompany it (we're at a vegetarian restaurant). As for the food, we weren't very satisfied; the dish didn't taste great, even the croissants were undercooked and hard. The staff wasn't very helpful with our friend; even though we'd called, they weren't very knowledgeable. They dismissed it by saying that the menu listed allergens without offering any alternatives. Ultimately, it was aesthetically pleasing, but we weren't satisfied; I don't think we'll be back.

A unique, very welcoming place. Excellent vegan option or a drink for a lovely romantic evening or with friends... highly recommended!
