Ognina Sun & Food In Siracusa

Every time we go to Sicily in the summer we always try to find a day to get here. We found a small free bay where we could swim 100 m from the restaurant with a freshwater shower attached. And in the evening we treat ourselves to a splendid homemade starter or a peppered dish and a second course of calamari. A glass of inzolia a sweet Try €35 per person. I don't think there can be money better spent, especially if you manage to sit in the seats closest to the sea

Location molto bella, proprio sul mare. Piatti particolari e ricercati negli accostamenti degli ingredienti. Mi aspettavo di più nei sapori, ma comunque buoni.

The ambience is great. Unfortunately the kitchen closes at 3 p.m. and doesn't open again until 8 p.m. So we came back the following day. We ate fish (bream) and a beef fillet salad with rocket. I don't know whether it was the fish or the preparation, but the entire skin was full of scales and therefore unfortunately inedible. The beef fillet salad with arugula was good, however. The waiters were very difficult to get to the table. After waiting for a while, I ordered another Coca Cola from a distance and received it almost unchilled and without a new glass (i.e. without ice cubes or a new slice of lemon). Maybe it was because it was already the end of the season, but when we visited there was clearly room for improvement in many areas.

Beautiful evening dancing until three in the morning... The cocktails can be improved but oh well, after the first all the others are fine 😂

A very beautiful place, with a breathtaking view of the cliff in front. There is a ladder for access to the sea and showers. The waste collection service leaves a bit of perplexity, as it could be more careful and attentive, both due to the presence of shards of bottles among the rocks in front and the miasma, which is not in keeping with the spectacular nature of the context.

Abbiamo pranzato in questo lido che propone sia gli ombrelloni coi lettini (in luglio 40 € un ombrellone e due lettini) che il pranzo e probabilmente la cena. I piatti non sono particolarmente curati a mio parere buono ma non buonissimo! Per questo quattro su cinque mi sembra un punteggio adeguato anche perché i prezzi non sono proprio bassi ma il livello non è alto adeguato ai prezzi la qualità buona ma non buonissima! Il personale gentile ma non gentilissima! E siamo solo a luglio… Lo consiglio a chi vuole passare una giornata in un lido abbastanza tranquillo a Ognina.
