The meal was delicious, as was the wine. The atmosphere is very cozy and the decoration very pretty! In addition, the service was perfect, because the team was very welcoming and attentive. One of the best restaurants in Venice!

What can I say about Oficina Ormesini that hasn’t been said before?!
This restaurant has to be one of the best in Italy, let alone Venice.
Nothing is too much for Enzo and his colleagues. The whole team work exceptionally hard to make the dining experience exemplary from start to finish. The whole experience is curated with a zeal and enthusiasm that clearly shows that the employees and owners of this jewel of an eatery see their time here as a vocation, a calling and not merely a job.
And the food? Imagine a seafood platter so fresh, it could have been shaken from a fisherman’s net in Burano 20 minutes before it lands on your plate. Oysters begging to be slipped down one's neck. Blackberries, red currants, black currants, melon, dried oranges and physilis nestling alongside dried roses as garnishes. Sliced beef, lipstick pink in the middle and mouth-wateringly succulent. Rosemary roasted potatoes, dusted with Himalayan salt, fluffy, crunchy and light.
To be frank, they had me at the bread basket, the contents of which were so varied, we tucked in like it was a chocolate selection box!
For pudding we had a freshly blended fruit sorbet that was as smooth as gelato. Perfect as a palate cleanser.
Drinks included several iterations of Venetian Spritz and a glass of deliciously juicy wine that seemed to completely fill our mouths and nostrils with aroma and flavour.
The ambience was candlelight and small table lamps accompanied by a playlist punctuated with contemporary neo jazz and disco classics, a hint of nouvelle vague but mostly the music made me feel happy, alive and grateful to be enjoying one of the most beautiful cities in the world, surrounded by fresh, delicious and irresistible food.
Bravo Enzo. You can definitely expect to see us again!

First of all, the staff is very very very friendly.
A wide variety of breads are provided before the meal.
I ordered caciopepe and ink squid pasta, but I mistakenly ordered vegetable pasta instead of ink squid pasta. But it was the same price so I just ate it.
Cassiopepe is moderately salty and tantalizing.
The vegetable pasta had a bit of a spice flavor and the combination of vegetables was good.
The atmosphere of the store is good, the food is good, and the staff is friendly. But the price is a bit expensive.
And the bathroom did not have a toilet cover, making it inconvenient for women to use.

Siamo stati nel locale prima in una sosta per pranzo.
Gradevole esperienza di cicchetti ben eseguiti ed innovativi senza esagerare.
Prezzo dell’esperienza alto, ma consono al trattamento veramente piacevole e all’ambiente curatissimo.
Non è il tipo di sosta che suggerisco ad un turista che cerca la cosa “da battaglia”, in quanto ad esempio lo stesso caffè è presentato in un vassoio barocchegiante, con guarnizioni, biscotteria e prezzo che riflette tutto ciò.
Siamo tornati la sera del giorno dopo.
La teciada di antipasto semplicemente sensazionale. Il granchio poco polposo, di buon sapore e di difficile lavorazione nel tavolo molto piccolo. Ci viene portata una ciotolina piccola con una salvietta che capiamo solo dopo serve anche per i vari gusci.
La famosa busara molto gradevole, anche se di difficile lavorazione (di nuovo, spazi del tavolo stretti, poca chiarezza su dove mettere gli scarti).
Il risotto alla pescatora semplicemente straordinario.
Personalmente del pasto non riprenderei solo il granchio: tanta spesa, poca resa e tanta lavorazione.
Prezzo con una bottiglia buona sui 50 a testa.
Consiglio decisamente l’esperienza a cena, preparandosi a lavorare il pesce a tavola.

Il locale è molto carino e caratteristico, ottimi i cicchetti, specialmente quello di sarde e cipolle, il fritto di calamari gamberi e verdure buonissimo, asciutto e croccante oltre che abbondante, ben fatto anche lo scialatello allo scoglio, il conto finale è caruccio, se vi limitate ad un piatto e un antipasto in due ve la cavate con un sessantino a testa.
