Special place. Flavio is very welcoming and helpful; he offers high quality food and drinks. If you are planning to spend some pleasant hours, this is the right place. Don't miss it!

I can not recommend this place more highly. The ambiance was immaculate. The owner was an amazing dude. The food was some of the best food I’ve ever had regardless of the country. The Bar manager put together a fantastic cocktail list. I had the “Little Italy” “The Revolver” the special of the day Bao Bun and Meatballs. I had the Braised Beef Cheek and Octopus dishes. One of the best octopuses I’ve ever had and I love octopus. I finished with the carbonara and was not disappointed. Make a point to eat here at least once if you’re anywhere close. I walked close to an hour from the coliseum after walking an additional hour from the Vatican just to see the art walk and stumbled upon a true gem. It is worth it. If/when I’m ever back in Italy I will make a point to come back.

Amazing one of my favorite places

This was my 60th birthday dinner, and it didn’t disappoint! Fabulous staff, service and food. And mmmmmm, cocktails. Thanks Carmelo! 😊

C’est en passant devant que nous avons décidé d’y entrer. Et quelle bonne idée ! Dès notre arrivée, le barman s’est inquiété de nous trouver une place confortable. Les décors sont très originaux et on se sent tellement à l’aise que nous sommes restés dîner. Les prix sont nettement plus raisonnables que dans Rome antique.

Locale carino, diverso dai soliti cliché, arredato tutto con mobili e tavoli vintage. Bella l’idea delle poltrone. Noi abbiamo cenato e abbiamo trovato tutto davvero ottimo. Un plauso alla guancia, la migliore che abbia mai mangiato, davvero fantastica e al godurioso tiramisù. Personale attento e gentile.

Informal environment compliant with the area, but with an identity unlike many. Very low prices, perhaps due to the area with high student attendance. Great American! Excellent aperitif menu 10 euros a trio of Montanarine + cocktails.
