Odeon Bistro In Firenze

I took a day trip from Milan to Florence in February 2026 on a day I did not have tickets to an Olympics event. A few months before my trip I discovered the wine window phenomenon on Instagram. I decided to use blogger recommendations to do a self-guided tour rather than take an official walking tour. Cafe Odeon appeared on multiple blogs. There was no line, so I was able to get my wine right away. The server at the window was so friendly and let me film the experience. When he saw I was standing outside, he invited me onto their enclosed heated patio to sit at a table to enjoy my wine even though I was not ordering food. I was with my service dog and the waiter graciously gave him a bowl of water.

Thursday, January 8, 2026, a truly successful lunch. I had a fresh chitarrina with stracciatella, which was simply delicious: perfect, fresh pasta, and super creamy stracciatella, a combination that wins you over from the first bite. The club sandwich was second to none; you could sense the presence of a professional in the kitchen. The service was worthy of the dish: attentive, kind, and with a smile, which always makes the difference. The atmosphere was very convivial and serene, the kind that makes you want to slow down and enjoy lunch without rushing. A place you'll gladly return to, especially for a properly prepared midweek lunch. Recommended 👍

Specialty coffee and top service

Great atmosphere, both the coffee and the cocktails were really good. The service was excellent. Recommended.

In front of a so called “winery, but that one is empty and Odeon is full. Y understand because they are very nice waiters and good food.

Such a good find! Great place to spot for aperitivo and to relax after walking around Florence. Have been here on multiple occasions when in Florence. Cutest wine window for takeaway or to dine in. The patio is exquisite and the music is always good. Chicken Karage is a stray from Italian food but sooo worth it!

I am French and I can say I had the BEST croissant there (pistachio filled) ! The barista makes great designs with the cappuccino foam. Don’t miss the adjacent library / movie theatre.

Good ambience, a bit pricey but ok
