Occomè In Firenze

As a self-confessed stuffed potato lover, I couldn't miss this spot, nestled in the heart of one of my favorite neighborhoods in Florence. The atmosphere is chill, though it could be a little more lively, but the owner—who also serves as host—is friendly and sharp, and immediately puts you at ease. And then straight to the main event: potatoes. Plenty of choices, though a Fontina cheese on the menu would definitely be a good fit 🔥. The portions are generous: I went for the Cinta Senese sausage with stracchino cheese, which enveloped my palate like a warm hug. Perhaps the ingredients were a bit too solo, not 100% blended. I also tried the one with bacon and Gorgonzola, which is decidedly bolder, ideal for those who want a heavy, uncompromising flavor.

I tried the raw Cinta Senese sausages, which they only serve on Fridays: exceptional. An interesting alternative to the classic restaurants. Highly recommended

I'm just saying that since I was lucky enough to meet him...I'll be back as soon as I can! High quality, kindness too; I find the variety excellent and you can choose at random... you always land on your feet! Few but good drinks and what can we say about the desserts, those are special too, very fresh and also for gluten intolerants, what more could you want!!!
