This is a local restaurant located on the outskirts of Rome. The staff was amazing, and they tried their best to speak English to us and accommodate our needs. The food was delicious and at a great price.

Ideal if you want to eat good fish and without long waits during work breaks... I also often use takeaway to have good fish meals at home when time doesn't allow me to cook... highly recommended...

Expensive prices compared to the quantity of portions and the location. The menu presents very modest prices but then when the order arrives the quantities are truly tiny. It is not acceptable to ask for fried fish and then receive a plate with 6 squid rings and 5 prawns.

Looking for a fish restaurant near home, we arrived at OBLÒ, seen from the outside it seems rather anonymous but don't be fooled, it is small and with a few tables only outdoors but it is attached to a fish shop and this is already a good guarantee regarding the quality of the fish. We started with an excellent octopus and potato salad and a delicious fish carpaccio. Followed by an exquisite plate of spaghetti with lupins, a very soft cod with turnip green cream wrapped between two layers of thinly sliced ​​potatoes. Then a plate of swordfish with artichokes, a delicious fish fillet (I don't remember if it was sea bass or sea bream) on a slice of polenta and pizzaiola croutons and a peppered mussels. We finished with an amazing tiramisu and two excellent coffees. Top quality ingredients prepared and cooked impeccably. A mention goes to the very nice waitress Simona who is very good at suggesting and presenting all the dishes of the day in detail. The restaurant, born as a takeaway, offers, in addition to express dishes prepared at the moment, dishes already ready to take away. Good prices, around 20/30 euros per person (but it must be said that we are foodies and didn't take wine). We will definitely return to try the other specialties. Highly recommended.
