Stepping back in time...as if we were at our grandparents' house (the most beautiful place in the world). I love vintage, so for me, this place is simply stunning. We ate wonderfully. Olive oil on the slice of bread... spectacular! 😍

A very charming place in the heart of Battipaglia, it feels like a step back in time. Limited seating, very welcoming staff. The tables, chairs, and cutlery are all different. We took a table that we shared with other diners. The menu changes, and Giggino keeps the off-menu items around his neck. Prices are fair. They offered us bread with oil and oregano while we ordered. We had the Genovese with broken ziti (tender meat), but the pasta was perhaps a little overcooked, and the concia boscaiola with fresh pasta, but a bit tasteless. We continued with tripe in sauce (excellent), fried mozzarella, and mozzarella in carrozza (which got a bit stale after a while). For dessert, the tiramisu was very good, and the zeppola (doughnut) made fresh. All accompanied by house wine. Coffee is brought with a moka pot and a bottle of anise. At the end, they offer you rossane, just like grandma used to make. A pleasant experience.

Myself and my 3 sisters visited this red in May 2025. The food was incredible, especially the mozzarella, it was so delicious! The staff were amazing and we had the best night! Highly recommended!

Very nice place, a dive into the past

Excellent quality mozzarella and a simply wonderful Pasta e Patate: fabulously cooked and sublime potatoes. A true Campania trattoria with professional and courteous service. I would return 300,000 more times. January 21, 2026, lunch with plentiful traditional dishes, friendly and attentive staff, and a setting decorated with 1970s and 1980s furniture. I was transported back to my childhood; highly recommended!
