First time at this place. As soon as we walked in, we wanted to leave... because we weren't expecting to have to share a table with other people... and the place seemed strange. Then we decided to stay, and it was a unique and fun experience... both thanks to the friendliness of the staff and the owner. Part of the menu was hanging around the waiters' necks... a unique and fun thing. Delicious food and good portions. Kudos to Giggino & Co!

Eating well while smiling so much has never happened to me. If you're in Battipagna, you have to go to O Vicolo 'E L' Allegria to eat. Congratulations on everything, not to be missed.

We returned to this restaurant after 4 years and we weren't disappointed! The staff were friendly, kind, and welcoming! A wide selection of first and second courses to satisfy every palate! Excellent quality ingredients and absolutely competitive prices! If you're passing through Battipaglia, stop by! It's definitely worth it! Thanks to the owner for his kindness and hospitality!!! We felt like we were home!

Highly recommended! We didn't even wait until we were 10 km away to write this review. A genuine place characterized by the friendliness and warmth of the staff. The dishes are exceptional, blending simplicity and flavor. Excellent value for money. It was a wonderful surprise on our return from vacation.

A must-visit if you're passing through Battipaglia and love home-cooked food. We chose it randomly and were amazed by the cheerful, family-friendly atmosphere. Giggino alone is worth the visit!

Locale mitico. Ti proietta nel passato. Arredato con cura e nulla è al caso. Per non parlare della cucina. Sembra di tornare a mangiare a casa della nonna. Con i sapori e i profumi di allora. Gestito davvero in maniera esemplare. Tutto perfetto. Consiglio vivamente di provare questa trattoria diversa dal convenzionale

Vabbeh… Come non sentirsi a casa della Nonna quando vai a trovare Giggino!? Ti metti a tuo agio, ordini i piatti più buoni che ti cucinavano spesso da piccolo e te ne vedi solo bene 😊 Ascit a Battipaglia p’ magná!

10/07/2025: As soon as we walked in for dinner the views were incredible. You can see a beautiful view of the water and you feel like you’re in an oasis. The staff accommodated for my family party of 11 (with reservations) and the staff was incredibly welcoming and informative. The food was out of this world. My family ordered all sorts of dishes and every one I tried was awesome. Really enjoyed the octopus and scallops appetizers.
10/07/2025: Everything was delicious, the place was beautiful, and the staff was very attentive.

15/08/2025: We were fortunate enough to sit at one of the tables at the traditional Dea Mangiona restaurant in the center of Cetara. A little gem run by a cheerful, smiling, hospitable, and kind owner couple. It's an experience that feels like home; the owners have an admirable way of making everyone feel at ease. At the owner's suggestion, we ordered the "mille facce di alice," an appetizer that captures the aromas and flavors of beautiful Cetara, represented even more symbolically by the spaghetti with anchovy sauce. We were amazed by the owner's welcome and the explanations of the dishes, and equally amazed by her husband's preparations. We won't forget this place and will definitely return! Highly recommended. (We look forward to seeing you in Florence)
