14/06/2025: Both the appetizers and the first courses were excellent, all of Piedmontese tradition with a special mention of game. The second course was too much for us 😆 . Recommended

A perfect stop on the way to the Italian ski resorts
We stopped at Cardo for a cool drink break, and the experience was beyond our expectations. The place, both calm and authentic, surprises with its peaceful and neat atmosphere.
The service is impeccable: attentive, fast and warm. The establishment is of exemplary cleanliness, with easy access for people in wheelchairs and nearby parking, which is rare in the area.
The location is ideal for a break on the road, particularly towards the nearby ski resorts such as Sestriere, Sansicario or Clavière. There is also a beautiful sunny terrace and a pleasant view of the surrounding mountains.
Things to do in the surrounding area:
Skiing and snowboarding in the Via Lattea area (Sestriere, Sauze d'Oulx, etc.)
Hiking and mountain biking in the summer around the Échelle pass and the Clarée valley
Historic walk through the charming village of Cesana Torinese
