Stopped by this little town for dinner with such a friendly atmosphere. The owner greeted us in English which he spoke well, and we tried our limited Italian with the staff. We has some amazing dishes, seafood risotto, bolognese pasta, and pizza on their terrace. A loving and welcoming place to be. Locals talking to the owner as he cooked and everyone enjoying each other’s company.

The restaurant has excellent potential but is poorly exploited. The pizza is low quality from the dough, to the acrid tomato, let's not talk about the mozzarella which on the buffalo should have been fresh and not rubbery. The mixed treat of croquettes etc. terrible, I don't expect them to make them but there is better on the market.

I must have passed through those areas dozens of times but I had never noticed it... Very familiar atmosphere....we were there on the occasion of a carnival party organized by the parish....we had a lot of fun...we were around 100 people and the guys in the room knew how to juggle magnificently even in the midst of the mess we made....really good fried foods and pizzas.... We will definitely go back in quieter moments 👍

05/08/2024: The pizza is good, the pan with provola, sausage, potatoes and porcini mushrooms is good.
25/07/2024: We were there for a celebration, there were 10 of us, 7 adults, 3 children. hot plate... So I'll start by saying that the food is good, the meat really good, the service is fast and kind (there were only a few of us though) but in the end it all cost €290 which would be around €29 each... I could also overlook the slightly high price but the most annoying thing is that 1 child ate only the starter and the first course, the second only the starter and they were warned beforehand that they would not eat (so the dishes were not prepared and then thrown away) and at the end of the bill he counted them as if they had eaten everything independently which in reality it was as if they weren't there.... A bit of a discount would have been appreciated because paying 29 euros for 1 starter and 29 for 1 starter and 1 first course and a bit much...

08/06/2024: From a long tradition of existing activity I think near the Centenario, a welcoming and spacious place with ceilings full of light, the menu offers many typical and traditional dishes with a modern metropolitan imprint, possibility of choosing excellent wines with a vast selection chosen in a particular way by the house sommelier
03/05/2024: It is one of the few culinary certainties in the city. It has always been the restaurant where you can eat traditional local dishes, but also some nice surprises such as the fettuccine with clams, mussels and courgette flowers enjoyed today. The desserts, the coffee, everything perfect. The service is always impeccable. In short, if you come to Avellino a stop at Martella is a must.
