Eating gluten-free and lactose-free often means making compromises, but at O' Masto I discovered that it is no longer necessary. Finally a place where I can let myself go without fear, enjoying every bite as if gluten had never been a problem.
The gluten-free and lactose-free pizzottelle montanare were the first sign that gluten-free is serious here: fragrant, light, with an intense and tasty tomato sauce. Then came the pizza, and there I understood that I was in front of something special. Without hesitation, I can say that it is the best gluten-free pizza I have ever eaten. Soft, well leavened, light but tasty, with a fragrant crust and top-quality ingredients.
And then, the part that is usually the disappointment of those who eat gluten-free and lactose-free: the desserts. But not here. Babà, tiramisu and above all the profiteroles, perfect in every detail, with that soft consistency and full flavor that is rarely found in gluten-free versions. All without strange aftertastes or dry consistencies: just pure pleasure.
As soon as you enter, you breathe a convivial and familiar atmosphere. The staff is friendly, attentive and always ready to recommend the right dish based on your tastes. The service is fast but never rushed, with particular attention to customer care.
At O' Masto I have never felt "different" because I eat gluten-free. I have just eaten very well. If you are looking for a place where gluten-free is not a limitation but an excellence, this is your destination. Finally a restaurant where I can say: I wouldn't change a thing.

O masto is a restaurant also suitable for large tables, the pizza is excellent and there are gluten-free alternatives for all types of food.

Excellent place, with attentive and friendly staff. They moved to the new location and I must say that I really like this space, it is more modern and with attention to detail. The food is excellent, particularly the pizza, which offers the option of low or high crust, and the gluten-free pizza, which is hard to find this good elsewhere. We always happily come back every time we are in Rome. Highly recommended!

Sono stato per la prima volta in questo locale perché vicino alla struttura ricettiva. Antipasto tipicamente romano con carciofo, non fritto, con mentuccia e pizza impasto ottimo napoletana con tanto pesce di calamari e gamberi e limone. Leggerissima tanto che ho dovuto prendere un piatto abbondante di cicoria ripassata. Digestivo di genziana. Personale molto gentile e simpatico. Da tornare per altri piatti dato che fanno anche primi e secondi. Complimenti 🔝 🔝 🔝 🔝

After the congress on "kinesiology applied to dentistry", which I got to know thanks to my friend Gianluca, we came to this restaurant in via del Serafico in the Eur area.
The venue has several rooms, one of which is very large where we were placed. It was all full and, the fear of the buzz, the fear of not being able to chat and the fear of the enormous wait that awaited us... it was BIG.
I had to change my mind; everyone, even the youngest, sometimes unjustly accused, was polite and silent, so we were able to chat amiably and in peace. The wait, which was quite astonishing, was very short thanks to our "Maetre de Sale" Giuseppe, very fast, prepared and precise.
Typically Neapolitan cuisine. The fried foods, I took the mixed one, were EXCELLENT, without any hint of old and/or burnt oil.
Very good sautéed chicory without much salt and/or spiciness. Divine sliced French fries (I stole some from Massimiliano. Whoever had the veal with green pepper was very satisfied; the fresh pasta was very good. My risotto alla pescatore was one of the best I've ever tasted: not rice overcooked, with just enough salt, rich in fish and not only clams and mussels, but calamari, prawns and scampi.
The desserts were many and good (I prefer the sweet and fresh pineapple.
The only flaw: among the desserts, the Neapolitan pastiera and the strictly "CURLY and FRESH" Sfogliatella were missing. A Bspoletano restaurant must have both: PROVIDE IT!!!

I went to O'Masto and was pleasantly surprised by the goodness and quality I found. The pizza was simply delicious, with a crunchy base and very fresh ingredients. The atmosphere of the place is very welcoming, perfect for a nice evening. The service was quick and friendly.
I will definitely be back!
