21/02/2026: We had the pleasure of dining at Ristorante O' Parrucchiano in Sorrento, and we can say without hesitation that it's one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. Simply stunning.
The atmosphere is magical: you eat in a huge room inside what I assume was a historic villa in the heart of the city (Corso Italia), surrounded by a wonderful lemon garden (where you can eat in the summer; temporary glass windows are provided for the winter) that seems to have come straight from a dream, with its intense aromas and timeless elegance. The restaurant is meticulously designed, refined yet rustic and welcoming, instantly making you feel like you're on vacation.
We started with the chef's appetizer: not particularly generous, admittedly, but of truly excellent quality. Each bite was balanced and rich in flavor, with incredibly fresh fish and top-quality ingredients.
Then we moved on to the great classics: gnocchi alla sorrentina, simply perfect, soft and enveloping, and the legendary centenary cannelloni, an iconic dish that originated right here. You can taste all the history and tradition in every bite: a true pride of Sorrento cuisine.
All at absolutely reasonable prices, especially considering the extraordinary location and the quality of the food. An experience worth every penny and one I recommend to anyone passing through Sorrento.
We recommend making a reservation even if we didn't, and we're delighted to say goodbye to the waiter who served us with extreme kindness, professionalism, and friendliness.
A place that will remain in your heart, for its beauty, deliciousness, and authenticity. We'll definitely be back! 🌿🍋
16/02/2026: Not our first time here, but have to say this is a must try in Sorrento, the menu is extensive and food items are generally all good. It may be hyped but it’s worth a try. The ambience and historical atmosphere along with the lush back garden make this place very special — like a time travel really. Despite our server forgetting our entree, other staff did a great job making sure we had a great dining experience, given the fast pace of the restaurant. I did not however enjoy their deserts
