Nuovo Gattopardo In Ragusa

I went to Gattopardo Trattoria - Pizzeria and tried their crusted mussel soup, a particular dish that I had never seen elsewhere. The mussel soup is served in a steel tray, covered with a focaccia-like dough, which you can use for dipping into the soup. Halfway through the course, the waiters bring some plain spaghetti with parsley and chilli (or without, on request) to add to the soup, completing the dish. An interesting and tasty idea, which makes the experience a little different than usual. Recommended for those looking for something new.

Unforgettable Christmas lunch at Le Gattopardo! The two menus, both fish and meat, were exceptional. Finely prepared dishes, authentic flavors and generous portions. The atmosphere of the castle made everything even more magical. Highly recommended!

I visited this place at the end of September, the restaurant was pleasant, the food was tasty, the attention of the waiters could be a little better, quite disorganized, we waited 1 hour for the starter, plus 3o minutes for the next dish and so on. I hope the wait time and service improve.

Something hidden. Very nice staff and the menu was perfect. However, you should eat after the castle because the portion is huge and you need a siesta.

We were with family, we booked for the first time, we had a great time, excellent welcome, delicious lunch, very nice owner, we spent a relaxing Sunday thanks to all the staff.

Really nice location, at the foot of the Donnafugata castle. Really efficient and very polite waiters. We took a plate of pasta with mussels for my daughters (according to them and I believe it) very good in fact they finished it immediately, my wife and I had a starter of mussel soup on the coast, a peculiarity born at the Gattopardo that I have never honestly seen , basically they bring a steel tray with a mussel soup inside, all covered by the pizza dough, then you accompany the mussels with the dough which is practically a focaccia, as soon as the waiters see that you're halfway through they bring the plain spaghetti with parsley and chilli (obviously they ask you if you want it without chilli or without parsley) and pour it into this steel container where the soup is left FANTASTIC and VERY GOOD. Then we had a mixed fry (squid and shrimp) and roasted swordfish. Thumbs up, congratulations, highly recommended

Very beautiful Pistoia in the enchanting location of Donnafugata Castle. Very good and tasty pizza. The service was a little slow, but on Saturday night there was really a lot of confusion. Small playground for children which could be enriched with even newer games. Ka Nina out of tune is the parking lot. It is not guarded, it requires a fee, it is dark, it does not serve the restaurant only na fi all the arrivals of the Donnafugata Castle
