Beautiful outdoor garden in the context of Donnafugata Castle, ideal place for families or tables. Good pizza (some burned at the back, others seem baby for the size), over-fried chips, friendly service.

What can I say… the mussel soup in a crust was a delight! My husband’s reflection: “To offend a woman you call her a mussel, in this restaurant it becomes a compliment!” Well done everyone 🎉👏🏻👏🏻🥳

Good food, fair price, friendly staff

On a Thursday evening at the beginning of May, alone in the restaurant at the start of the evening (7:30 p.m.), we benefited from the best attention and appreciated the quality of the wood-fired pizzas and the white wine. Excellent value for money. 43eur: 1 white glass, 1 limoncello spritz, 2 bottles of water, 2 pizzas, 2 lemon sorbets. We will surely come back before the end of our stay to try the local dishes... We returned there the following 3 evenings. We tasted the beef fillet on a bed of arugula and Grana shavings, the shrimp risotto, the spaghetti with mussels, spaghetti alla vonghole, the bean soup, the antipasti of local cheeses and charcuterie, eggplant parmigiana, the local red wine, the barrel grappa and the white one. Go there with your eyes closed! Unbeatable value for money! A wonderful welcome! I highly recommend!

Absolutely try "Il Gattopardo"! Despite the proximity to the Donnafugata Castle, which sometimes makes one fear purely tourist cuisine, this restaurant pleasantly surprised me with the quality of its dishes. Special praise goes to their crust soup, a real delight that I highly recommend. The rustic appetizer is also excellent, rich in typical cured meats and cheeses that tell the story of the territory. The staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs, helping to create a welcoming atmosphere. The final bill was honest, except perhaps for the craft beers which I found a little expensive. Overall, the experience was very satisfying. I will happily return and highly recommend it to anyone who is in the area and wants to enjoy authentic and tasty cuisine. A great find!

I went to Gattopardo Trattoria - Pizzeria and tried their crusted mussel soup, a particular dish that I had never seen elsewhere. The mussel soup is served in a steel tray, covered with a focaccia-like dough, which you can use for dipping into the soup. Halfway through the course, the waiters bring some plain spaghetti with parsley and chilli (or without, on request) to add to the soup, completing the dish. An interesting and tasty idea, which makes the experience a little different than usual. Recommended for those looking for something new.

Unforgettable Christmas lunch at Le Gattopardo! The two menus, both fish and meat, were exceptional. Finely prepared dishes, authentic flavors and generous portions. The atmosphere of the castle made everything even more magical. Highly recommended!
