fairly good. the crust of the mussels in crust in some dishes was soft in others it was like crackers while the pizza on the plate some a little raw others burnt so there is some problem in the attention to cooking.
waiters very polite and prepared, very spacious and clean place... let's say that the experience in general was positive, small problems only in the various "different" cooking methods.
chips and good seafood. I do not recommend the local craft beer, even though it was opened at the table it seemed like it was diluted with water.

We ate at Gattopardo twice in a week, because you can only find such a good mussel soup in a crust here. It's basically a mussel soup (very good!) covered with a crust of bread dough and baked in the oven. You open the "lid" and enjoy the mussels, then mopping up the sauce with the bread crust. Then comes the best part: they bring you the spaghetti in the remaining sauce! Really very good, after all the owner is the creator of this dish. Thanks to the very kind Nancy who explains everything, as well as providing you with a bib which is a must. We highly recommend it and all the people who followed our suggestion, never stopped thanking us. Anna and Aldo

Beautiful outdoor garden in the context of Donnafugata Castle, ideal place for families or tables.
Good pizza (some burned at the back, others seem baby for the size), over-fried chips, friendly service.

On a Thursday evening at the beginning of May, alone in the restaurant at the start of the evening (7:30 p.m.), we benefited from the best attention and appreciated the quality of the wood-fired pizzas and the white wine.
Excellent value for money.
43eur: 1 white glass, 1 limoncello spritz, 2 bottles of water, 2 pizzas, 2 lemon sorbets.
We will surely come back before the end of our stay to try the local dishes...
We returned there the following 3 evenings. We tasted the beef fillet on a bed of arugula and Grana shavings, the shrimp risotto, the spaghetti with mussels, spaghetti alla vonghole, the bean soup, the antipasti of local cheeses and charcuterie, eggplant parmigiana, the local red wine, the barrel grappa and the white one. Go there with your eyes closed! Unbeatable value for money! A wonderful welcome! I highly recommend!

Absolutely try "Il Gattopardo"! Despite the proximity to the Donnafugata Castle, which sometimes makes one fear purely tourist cuisine, this restaurant pleasantly surprised me with the quality of its dishes. Special praise goes to their crust soup, a real delight that I highly recommend. The rustic appetizer is also excellent, rich in typical cured meats and cheeses that tell the story of the territory. The staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs, helping to create a welcoming atmosphere. The final bill was honest, except perhaps for the craft beers which I found a little expensive. Overall, the experience was very satisfying. I will happily return and highly recommend it to anyone who is in the area and wants to enjoy authentic and tasty cuisine. A great find!
