While I really appreciated the warmth and hospitality of the host—an old lady who I believe is the cook at 1962 Restaurant—I found the food to be just average. The flavors didn’t quite meet my expectations, though I should note that I’m not Italian and may not fully appreciate the nuances of the cuisine.
That said, I truly valued the honest approach of the restaurant in clearly stating that there are limited options for meat and seafood. It reassures me that the food served is extremely fresh, which is a big plus. Overall, a cozy and genuine place, but the taste didn’t quite hit the mark for me personally.

I visited in 2024 and 2017. The restaurant was better in the past. The quality and selection are good. But the prices have increased too much, and the service and atmosphere are not great. The freshness is also questionable. It was also rude to instruct us to go to an ATM to pay cash; when the card machine is working fine.

I had a very tasty lunch in this restaurant. Retro interior design, the restaurant is small in size. A little slow service and an unfriendly waitress who immediately informed me that I can only pay for the order in cash, although I spoke Italian) At the end of my visit, I noticed that the girls from at the neighboring table, they paid with a card 🥴 That's why -1 star. But all the same, I recommend this establishment to visit because the food here is really delicious

Small Sicilian trattoria, the mixed starter of Sicilian specialties was very good and tasty.
