It was the nicest place we have visited in Catania. We went there twice, and again tomorrow.
They have self-made Pasta as well as relatively many vegetarian dishes which is really great.
The service is pleasant also for non Itslians... as far as I gathered, it is a family business.
Prices are great and they serve a very good house wine.

A location close to the Bellini theater.
If you are looking for typical Sicilian food, don't hesitate, dishes with good quantity and quality, the waiter is super attentive.
The decoration and furniture are a little neglected, but it gives it a special touch!
I recommend it!!

Fantastic food and kind service! I came here after wandering the neighbourhood looking for dinner, and was not disappointed. It felt much more authentic and less touristic than many of the other places in the area. The prices are fair, the food was great, and the service was friendly. For 10€ I got a pasta dish and wine, which I think is a great deal! There is a nice terrasse outside, as well as seating inside so you can choose based on preference. Thanks :)

The opening hours are flexible, they finally invited me in half an hour later, but it was worth the wait!!
We tried homemade pasta alla Norma and pistachio cheese.
While I ate the most delicious grilled baby octopus of my life, Mamma's singing filled the kitchen.
And my husband tasted grilled horse meat, which was also very tasty!
We paid 44 euros for all this...
The family atmosphere of the place is enhanced by the kindness of the waiter.
If you are in Catania, definitely visit here!!!!!!

The Nonna is real. The Pasta is cooked way to well - not al dente.
It is mediocre.
However, the veal Palermo style was, dry and burned. Not a, delight.
Service was friendly and prices semned OK.
