Nostrano In Pizzo

Thanks to Francuccio, we had a lovely lunch. The food was delicious, and so was the service. We didn't even wait 10 minutes. We'd be back, thank you, Franco ♥️

What can I say? Everything was fantastic! The food was delicious, and even though they were very busy, the service was very efficient and polite. If you want to eat well, go there.

A welcoming restaurant with excellent cuisine. We dined here in August and had a wonderful time. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the ingredients were fresh and high-quality. I highly recommend it.

Excellent seafood with a sea view! We had lunch at Nostrano, in a super welcoming atmosphere, with elegant furnishings and extremely friendly staff. The ingredients were truly fresh, from the appetizer to the peppered mussels. The wine recommended by the owner was also very good. The prices were more than fair for the quality and experience they offer. Highly recommended.

We took advantage of August 19th to visit Pizzo for the tuna and truffle festival. Having made no reservations, around dinner time we stumbled upon this restaurant, which was offering truly inviting dishes. We asked for a table for two, but unfortunately it was fully booked. Despite this, Mrs. Angela, an employee, very kindly said, "Guys, I'll have you in five minutes," and so it was. She managed to find us a table and was helpful and attentive throughout the service. Her passion for her work and the hospitality she gave us made us feel right at home: truly an added value that deserves recognition. Regarding the dishes: 1. Pinsa Margherita – excellent cooking and light dough, simply perfect: 10/10. 2. Swordfish ravioli with cherry tomatoes and pistachios – well-balanced flavors, very good: 8.5/10. 3. Calamarata with clams, shrimp, basil pesto, and pistachios – one of the best dishes I've ever eaten, absolutely recommended: 10/10. 4. Tartufo gelato – simply irresistible, a must in Pizzo: 10/10. Everything was perfect: excellent food, welcoming atmosphere, and impeccable service. I'm happy to reiterate that Angela was special, but it should be emphasized that the entire staff was courteous, professional, and helpful. A restaurant worthy of a full 5-star rating!

We had dinner with the family. The food was delicious, but the service was a bit lacking. They don't clear your plates while the second course is arriving. It's such a mess that the table starts clearing while you're holding the second course. I understand there's a lot of people, but a little attention doesn't hurt. The prices are fair. A suggestion: perhaps instead of the booster seats for small children, there could be a street cleaner in the women's restroom.

Superlative experience! Exceptional food, impeccable service (Franco was the best), and incredibly fresh fish. We've already decided when we'll return with 25 friends!

The fried food is excellent, but the seafood linguine is phenomenal, not to mention the artisanal truffles. The staff was incredibly kind and friendly, and they even offered us sorbets and pasta dishes.

Siamo stati a pranzo al ristorante Il Nostrano, in una piacevole posizione sul lungomare. Il locale è arredato con gusto soprattutto all' esterno dove domina il bianco. Ho apprezzato molto l’antipasto misto con assaggi vari e la pepata di cozze, davvero saporita (avrei messo qualche crostino in più). Le linguine ai frutti di mare, invece, mi hanno convinto meno: troppo condite per i miei gusti, e un po’ invadenti rispetto al sapore del pesce. Il personale è stato gentile e disponibile anche abbiamo dovuto chiedere più volte di portare l'acqua però il locale era pieno e l'attesa è giustificata. Si può scegliere se mangiare all’interno o all’esterno, cosa sempre gradita. Nel complesso, un buon pranzo.

Ristorante di pesce simpatico e accogliente. Antipasti primi e pesce fresco. Sulle linguine allo scoglio lo chef si è confuso sulla quantità. 40 grammi di linguine sono diventate 150 ma la simpatia della proprietaria a messo tutto a posto. Grazie e alla prossima volta.
