I came back after many years and it's always excellent

I always enjoy returning to Nonno Marcello, a trattoria serving excellent, traditional food. The reasonable prices, warm welcome, and traditional Bari cuisine make it a go-to for simple, quick meals. The pasta alla marinara, eggplant parmigiana, and tiramisu are all excellent. Overall, all the dishes are truly delicious and satisfying. I highly recommend it.

Excellent cuisine, home-made at a good price, perfect for quick business lunches

We ordered three pizzas, two arancini, and a panzerotto for the Sanremo Festival. We'd asked for a Margherita and two Calabrian pizzas, but the Margherita was actually a four-cheese pizza, made that way by the natural evolution of the mozzarella used (exceptional). The pizza was gluten-free, making it the envy of the best pizzerias in Campania, and the toppings were made with top-quality ingredients (made decades ago). For meat sauce lovers, I recommend the salmon arancini. We'll be back... ...in another life. Perhaps.

It's not the first time I've been to this place and I must say that I always have a good time... a place where you feel right at home, the dishes are truly excellent and plentiful, I also tried the pizza which is good... but the highlight in my opinion is the homemade tiramisu... Nonno Marcello is always a guarantee and never disappoints... Highly recommended!!!

A super "local" experience, unpretentious and with excellent food! The atmosphere is very noisy due to the endless number of people who order and leave in a flash. The servers are very friendly and the food is good. Super affordable prices.

I frequent it for takeaway arancini which are the best in the city for flavour and crunchiness at an exceptional price.

You can never go wrong at Grandpa Marcello's...everything is very good. The place is basic.

Excellent restaurant, friendly and efficient staff; the dishes are also well prepared and the panzerotti are definitely super good.
