The pasta alla norma was out of this world, same thing with the amatriciana, excellent value for money, also excellent as a pit stop if you are travelling, it's worth it. Very kind waitress and owner

Cibo ottimo. Da vegana ho mangiato un’ottima pasta alla norma e verdure grigliate. Le porzioni sono molto abbondanti. Il personale davvero gentile e accogliente, io e la mia famiglia ci siamo sentiti come a casa. Consiglio vivamente :)

We had lunch at the Nonna Gelsena restaurant, the staff were friendly and helpful. We were able to eat in a pleasant and welcoming environment although a little small. Good food, excellent value for money. I absolutely recommend it

Ottima posto per un pranzo veloce, gestione familiare. Oltre ai piatti già pronti fanno cucina espressa. Consiglio i primi espressi di ottima qualità, semplici ma cucinati bene ed abbondanti. Cortesie dei gestori e del personale addetto. Volete un piatto di pasta per la pausa pranzo o dopo una giornata al mare? Non cercate altro, siete nel posto giusto

01/10/2024: Fantastic food with very, very lovely owner. We had two pasta dishes, both of which were really tasty. Priced like all other pasta dishes in Sicily between 15-20 euros. Any time :)
24/09/2024: Definitely not my kind of food, although my friends said they enjoyed their meals. Friendly, positive atmosphere and affable service. There was a bit of confusion with the final bill, which started at €482, went down to €387 (after reconsidering the dishes as part of the daily menu offer, as they were initially ordered) and then to €357 (when using a calculator to add it all up). We had a lot of fun otherwise. The restaurant was recommended by a local and we were lucky to get seats without prior reservation.
