A real surprise discovered by chance while strolling. Fresh, tasty, and typical local products that you can also buy and take home. Tourist or not...if you're here, I recommend you stop by!!!

We asked for beer and expected to get normal beer that was listed in the menu. Instead we got expensive craft beer which was more expensive and only „found out“ when we received the bill. Not the kind of hospitality I would expect.

Nocelleria was our favourite place to eat and drink whilst in Matera.Firstly the owners are the nicest people, nothing was too much trouble. Lovely setting, great menu and delicious authentic food. Highly Recommend 🇮🇹

Very nice, just off the main square, we had lunch with sandwiches, platters, and other local dishes. The food was delicious, the service excellent, and it's definitely a must-visit when visiting Matera.

25/08/2025: A simply exquisite grill and butcher shop. The family who runs it is super friendly, and the meat they cook is incredibly good! If you're in Marconia, you can't miss it.
