On the Catania seafront in front of the small port of Ognina, you can enjoy a decent view and taste the seafood dishes, well cooked and fresh. It's a street food and terraced upstairs restaurant, but the prices are the same.

Advised! Fresh and well served fish, nice environment. Prices not low, but justified.

Unfortunately we didn't have a good experience tonight. At the waiter's suggestion we took some raw fish, adding two first courses of linguine with clams and a glass of wine. The price of the starters was really exaggerated. Although the quality is good, the dishes lacked any personality. The raw fish looked like they were literally taken from the fish counter and arranged on the plates. Unfortunately the tartares were not convincing, in this case also the quality of the fish. Then they brought us this "marinated fish" which was nothing more than raw sea bass with a sprinkling of salt. (At the modest price of 27.50 euros) If I go to a restaurant and pay that much I expect a different exaltation of the product. Otherwise, it's much better to eat at home and avoid bloodletting. The only positive note: the first ones. Stop.
