Hands down the best sushi in Milan

Always an excellent choice; even after years, the quality and service have remained unchanged. I also recommend it for the atmosphere, which is refined and suitable for couples on their first date.

Japanese and fusion cuisine with smart touches , attentive service

One of the best sushi restaurants in Milan, with a modern and elegant location, an interesting menu, and consistently excellent service. I've been going there for a while and have always had a great experience. The prices are medium-high; for two, five courses total, it's close to €100. Parking in this area is a bit of a problem. Always a perfect upgrade in terms of service and imaginative presentation. Six courses total, not a small sum. Super good raw food upgrade, excellent service, medium-high price.

Everything was great. The only downside was that we waited 40 minutes to be seated even though we had a reservation. I hope it was just an unlucky night.

I'd been there a few years ago for a company dinner and recently found it just as I remembered it. For special occasions and sushi lovers, it's simply a must-visit. The service was top-notch and the waiter who served us was extremely friendly, explaining each dish in detail. Spectacular presentation and meticulous attention to detail. Excellence.

In my opinion, Nishiki deserves 5 stars. Good food, with unusual yet very balanced combinations (like the tataki roll, with a delicious arugula cream that gives the dish a nice kick). The waiter who served us was kind, attentive, and friendly. They even gave us a pre-bill to check before paying, and I say "even" because practically no restaurant does this, and more often than not, you end up with an extra dish or glass of wine you never ordered. A truly wonderful dinner!

A cathartic experience in the booths of one of Milan's best Japanese fusion restaurants: Nishiki. Opened in 2005, it is now a benchmark for elegance and quality, also awarded a Travelers' Choice. The atmosphere is unique: sinuous bronze chandeliers, emerald tables that highlight the dishes and faces, soft lighting that creates intimacy and refinement. Upon entry, the host welcomes us with professionalism and escorts us to our table, after the obligatory hot oshibori, a sign of Japanese hospitality. The culinary journey begins with tempura oysters: crispy on the outside, plump on the inside, with a hint of citrus that captivates from the first bite. Probably grade 2 or 3 concave oysters. Next up are the wagyu ravioli with truffle, spectacularly served in terracotta: intense aroma, but slightly penalized by the use of truffle oil (fresh truffle flakes would have been better). This penalty could affect the final score, but the quality remains high, with attention to detail and meticulous presentation. The rolls are the stars: the Tiger Roll with crunchy almonds, avocado, and salmon (perhaps a little too much avocado, making them soft), the flavor quickly becomes flat on the palate without providing a "WOW" effect; the fresh tuna and avocado roll with spicy sauce, bold in character and certainly better than the previous ones; and finally the sea bass rolls, true masterpieces. Super fresh, generous, and enveloping fish, enhanced by a light tempura that provides a sublime crunch. Each bite invites you to linger, appreciating its nuances and textures. Highly recommended! With refined dishes, toasts with 2021 Barone Pizzini bubbles, smiles, and conversation, Nishiki confirms itself as a top-quality restaurant, capable of combining elegance, hospitality, and high-quality cuisine. Thanks to the staff—hosts, hostesses, and (very friendly) waiters—who are impeccable and always smiling, making the experience even more special. Would I return? Absolutely. Nishiki is a journey through aesthetics, flavors, and atmosphere that leaves a lasting impression. — GabriP

Siamo stati in questo locale attirati da una puntata di foodish. Posto elegante, niente da dire. Personale molto gentile e servizio attento. Inoltre una cosa mai vista prima: ci sono state portate due asciugamani caldi e umidi per lavarci le mani prima di mangiare. Abbiamo preso: capesante grigliate (il piatto migliore, veramente ottime), millefoglie di tonno (bella l'idea) salmone affumicato al cedro con uova di salmone e tartufo (ottimo il secondo miglior piatto), gio daikon tuna (buoni) sashimi di ventresca di tonno (per 30! e. mi sari aspettato una porzione più abbondante)Yaki soba botarga (ottima anche lei). Poi un tortino caldo con gelato al mango e un dolce tropicale (vedi foto). spesa con una bottiglia d'acqua e un calice di vino 161,00E. certamente non economico ma alcune dei piatti assaggiati li si trova solo li. Peccato che un paio di pietanze fossero davvero care.

Cena di lavoro. Il locale è bellissimo. Arredamento super. Luci e tende meravigliose. Accoglienza e servizio impeccabile. Super cordiale e professionale. Cibo veramente buono. Tutto preparato con cura e presentato bene. Complimenti! Da provare.
