17/01/2025: Lots of food, typical Piacenza dishes and cured meats, very honest prices

28/12/2024: I had lunch on Christmas Day (sold out... over 100 people with a fixed menu of various appetizers, 3 first courses and 2 second courses of meat, dessert, wines, fruit etc. Price 52 euros each). Table of seven with 4 of us for the first time. Despite the full house I ate very well like the other times on normal days. Excellent various starters. Maybe the fried dumpling can be improved. Piacenza tortelli as my mother and mother-in-law made them (for my taste the best of the best in the province), same thing for the anolini (not tasted the other first courses but the others liked them). Then the meat-based second courses (5/6 different types of meat). I'm sorry I wasn't able to eat it all, I couldn't take it anymore. Adequate white and red wine from the area. Friendly and helpful staff. The place was perhaps not very airy but it was December 25th. My 4 guests were very happy. I will definitely return. Among all the places frequented previously on this date, this remains, for me, the best. It deserves 5 stars
