Nicolin is a restaurant offering excellent value for money. They're friendly and will recommend wines without overcharging you. The only downside is the noise from loud customers.

An exceptional experience! The wine cellar was truly superbly stocked and very well selected. I was extremely pleased and satisfied with the service and menu. I'll be back as soon as possible.

I agree with my previous reviews: dining at Giovanni Cattaneo is always a wonderful surprise! The raw fish appetizer is superbly high-quality and incredibly creative. Other appetizers and first courses are delicious, the meat-based main courses masterfully cooked and harmoniously flavored, and the desserts are classic and perfectly executed. The wine list, featuring many historic vintages of great Italian and international wines, is worth the trip. The service is punctual, courteous, and very professional, but without self-congratulatory rhetoric, which usually conceals ulterior motives. Congratulations to Giovanni and his entire staff!

I was traveling for a business trip and stayed for a couple of nights. The hotel was very clean and served excellent food. The business menu was excellent, allowing you to choose between meat or fish while staying within your travel budget.

E’ ormai qualche anno che frequentiamo questo ristorante e la qualità del cibo non delude mai, come la mise en place sempre di classe e raffinata. Questa volta però non ho dato il punteggio massimo perché ho notato che le porzioni si sono ridotte, a fronte dello stesso prezzo. Comunque rimane sempre uno dei migliori del lecchese.

Pranzo di lavoro. Locale già conosciuto, elegante, ma discreto, ben frequentato. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. Ottima qualità delle materie prime, super presentazione. Consiglio vivamente.

02/10/2025: After a two-hour climb, you either pass it and don't know what you're missing, or you stop and then... Then you just have to admire the landscape and head back down. Pizzoccheri, braised beef, porcini mushroom stew, and boiled meat with polenta. Cheeses, sweets, and bitters. What more can I say? It's a must-try.
21/09/2025: I came here to eat with a group of friends. The food was delicious, varied, and plentiful. The service was excellent and the prices were very fair. Highly recommended.
