Very very pleasant and helpful waitresses, good food, reasonable prices. Small restaurant to discover.

I want to be honest: initially I was a little skeptical. Then confident of the average reviews and seeing that many people, apparently local, were sitting there, I took courage. And I'll tell you about my experience. First of all, very kind staff. Despite the reserved tables and our failure to book, they managed to accommodate us in the best possible way. We ordered two first courses (spaghetti with seafood and pici with sea cicada pesto) and then continued with the turbot. It was all great, but the turbot was truly spectacular! It is a delicate fish, you need to know how to cook it well. Especially when you make it in the oven with potatoes and cherry tomatoes (Isola style). The risk of ruining the meat is high. And instead it was really well cooked. Then a focus on the bitters at the end meant that we really fell in love with this place. I will happily return when I pass through Viareggio again. Advised.

This restaurant in the center of the commercial marina district is a perfect non-touristy place to taste the regional food - as well as pizza. We had pasta and were very happy with the quality as well as the quantity of the meal. Two varieties of bread were served with the meal - one of them house-made. Lots of local workers had lunch here. Always a good indicator regarding value for money. Very friendly service.
