Nesis In Cesano maderno

We went for dinner on Saturday evening, I had a dish called "Calamari and calamari": a very thick and consistent, quality artisanal pasta, which always remains al dente, with a very tasty tomato and calamari sauce. The environment is quiet, elegant and "niche", the owners are really kind and friendly, they even offered us biscuits after dinner, but the waiting time for the dishes was truly interminable (we had been warned that the pasta had long cooking times, but we didn't imagine that much), and the prices in our opinion were a little too high for what was offered, but I think this is due to the fact that it is not exactly the most suitable place for us (teetotalers) but rather for a clientele who loves some good wine, as I saw that they have a truly fabulous and sophisticated wine list.

Definitely a good fish restaurant, not obvious in its offerings, you eat well, you drink well and you pay well.

Fantastic dinner. Very fresh fish and menus with very interesting and unique proposals in these areas. Very attentive service, attention to the customer and to details. The waiter carefully explained each dish to us as well as the attention that the restaurant pays in choosing the raw materials. Highly recommended.

Con dei clienti che volevano mangiare in un locale chic, decido di portali in questo noto ristorante di Cesano, molti anni fa anche pizzeria.Il locale si presenta bene e si respira un po' l'aria di quelli che vogliono sembrare. Ci sta e noto anche per i prezzi sopra la media. E ci sta pure questo se mangi piatti di pesce di alto livello. Io in questo non lo discuto mai. La qualità si paga, giustamente. Ecco e proprio qui che casca l'asino, come si dice. Antipasto di pesce che non valeva il prezzo, tanta presentazione ma nulla di entusiasmante , così pure nero primo piatto e nei secondi. Certo si vuole fare scena nel servizio , ma non rispetta il prezzo pagato. In tre più di trecento euro. No. Cominciamo a mettere i puntini sulla i, come si dice. Non e il locale che serve il cibo più genuino a Cesano . C'è ne sono altri. Il pesce e sicuramente fresco, ma i piatti finali non meritano un prezzo così. I miei clienti visto il prezzo sono rimasti delusi. Sono quei locali che in apparenza vogliono sembrare, ma.....peccato.

Beautiful place, gives a sense of home. It is a welcoming and delicate place. The food is very good and the staff is very kind.

Far too expensive restaurant that has a luxurious appearance but is far short of culinary standards... aldente is confused with undercooked and unedible... Penne with squid has everything you don't want on your plate...rubbery and the taste of a fishy tomato... Too bad about the 120 euros...

Pretty good food, there are better but also worse restaurants. The surprise came with the bill. We had chosen an Etna Bianco wine (the only one present on the menu as shown in the photo) at the price of €36. After leaving the restaurant we noticed that we were charged for an extra dessert than what we ordered (€9) and €42 for the wine. Total "error" therefore equal to €15. When we returned to the restaurant to ask for explanations, the owner told us that he made us drink a better wine which, according to him, cost €65 and that he only charged us €42. Given that, considering the error, in the end we would have paid €61 for that wine (36 owed and 15 "error"), I remind the kind owner that this attitude, in addition to being incorrect, is also a crime. You cannot offer a customer a product other than the one on the list and ordered without communicating it. It was enough to say: I don't have the wine on the menu, but I offer you another bottle at a slightly higher price. Imagine if, out of a €170 dinner for 2, it would have been a problem to pay €6 more for wine... It's a real shame because you can expect these games in other restaurants, not in the very famous and very expensive fish restaurants in Brianza. In the end the owner refunded us €10. Who knows how calculated...

We went to this fish restaurant, the products are simply delicious, the wine list is excellent, the service is punctual and extremely competent.
