Was wanting to try something different. Never had Filipino food before. The grilled bbq pork belly was amazing. Remember when in Rome everything is Al carte. Not like in the US. Have to order any side dishes separately.

Tried a pork dish and a shrimp dish. The shrimp was seasoned well and liked it but the pork dish was not as what I expected it to be, specially if that specific dish should have originated from their province- Pampanga. The place was clean.

Dining at Neighborhood Filipino Restaurant in Rome was the perfect way to end our unforgettable day visiting the Vatican! As a family, we were thrilled to find a taste of home (or close to it) in the heart of Italy. The warm and welcoming atmosphere made us feel like we were part of the neighborhood, and the staff went above and beyond to make our dinner special.
The food was absolutely incredible—authentic, flavorful, and made with so much love. We started with lumpia, which were crispy and delicious, and then moved on to adobo and sinigang, which were both bursting with flavor. The kids loved the pancit, and we couldn’t get enough of the leche flan for dessert. Every dish reminded us of the rich culinary traditions of the Philippines.
The portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable, especially for such high-quality food. The cozy ambiance, combined with the friendly service, made our family dinner feel like a celebration. It was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring the Vatican.
If you’re in Rome and craving Filipino food (or just want to try something new), this restaurant is a must-visit. We’re so grateful for the wonderful experience and can’t wait to come back on our next trip! Salamat, Neighborhood Filipino Restaurant! 🇵🇭❤️

The place itself was kinda like a hidden gem. We wouldn't have found it on our own if we hadn't had it recommended to us!
They were so nice and the place filled up quickly.
This was my first ever time eating actual pinoy food and it did not disappoint! We ordered a lot and tried to eat it all but we had to bring doggy bags with us lol.
I strongly recommend going there at around 19 if you don't have a reservation because the place really filled up quickly after that!

This place is a hidden gem just outside the walls of Vatican. The food was delicious. The sisig came out sizzling. The big bowl of sinigang (one order) was more than enough to feed 4 people. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for that home cook meal when away from home (Philippines).
DINE IN, you'll be glad you did.
