Ndrè - Italian Comfort Food In Sorrento

Okay so we have an interesting experience…there was a blackout. Now in a blackout, what’s the etiquette? What do you do? (As a patron). We had ordered a bottle of wine and the meat and fish tasting menu. We had the homemade bread and amuse bouche right before by power went out and I must say…WOW. The wine..wonderful. It would pair well with both the fish and the meat. Then the blackout happened. First off: if you’re a tourist, be aware of your behavior, it’s a privilege to be in sorrento. Now, we sat and finished our wine, while they encouraged us to do so. We smoked our cigarettes and observed. Truly, it was a beautiful time. We come from a place where there are constant black outs all summer, while they were apologetic, we were simply having so much fun. We sipped our wine and smoked cigarettes on the front. Honestly… very Michelin vibes (especially with the smoking). The only issue is with the geopolitical circumstances. We will call again to come back. But we didn’t pay for anything, they wouldn’t let us! We will 100% come back next time we’re in sorrento but seriously…just based off of our small experience…please go!!! Also the amuse bouche was potato, octopus, and rice. Absolutely AMAZING!!

Absolutely incredible experience here at Ndrè, the hostess was really professional and impressive with her attention to detail. The food was simply outstanding, the lobster starter was out of this world. Really fantastic place with only 8 covers and should not be missed if you are in Sorrento.

Delightful!!! Small place, tastefully furnished, beautiful tables, compliments for the ceramic plates (beautiful and particular). From the bread to the dessert everything was perfect. Excellent raw materials and combinations. Chef Andrea cooks in full view, never distracting his attention from the personal preparation of all the dishes, with great passion. Potato cream with octopus ragout, spaghetti with cacio pepe and Bra sausage, pil pil cod, turbot, octopus, all perfect. A splendid dinner! We will return with enthusiasm every time we are in Sorrento.

In the panorama of Sorrento this is a small pearl of catering. The service is attentive and attentive, and the food is tasty and refined in every course. Personally, I really appreciated the preparation of the octopus, with a truly divine taste... The environment is cozy and intimate, and you can perceive the love for tradition combined with a contemporary "twist". I would recommend this place to locals as well as foreigners visiting the Amalfi Coast, because what you experience with your palate is truly above average!

The place is characterized by a delightful and intimate atmosphere. Inside I found maximum friendliness and kindness which combined perfectly with the quality level of the food. I recommend all the dishes on the menu. All supported by an excellent wine recommended by sommelier Lucia

hands down best meal we had in sorrento! came here only bc a close friend who travels a lot recommended. this was not a restaurant our 5 star hotel consierge suggested!! it is a little out of the way, not in the touristy part of town. 4 tables, tiny cozy place with 3 staff members uncluding chef Andre!!! 1. decor 10/10 2. silverware and plates 10/10 3. price 10/10, bargain for the food 4. staff 10/10, you feel like chef is making you personally which he does but the open kitchen and his kind demeanor makes it more special. he is truly awesome guy. went once and then cancelled anothet reservation to go here again within 4 days. 5. octopus salad 10/10 best i had 6. tartar 10/10 best i had 7. truffle pasta amazing, would cost you 200 in manhattan. here it was 25 8. turbot 10/10 9. deserts perfection he deserves at least 2 stars go here before the whole world discovers it and you cant get a reservartion. i honestly was not going to write review bc i dont want the magic spoiled with selfie taking loser gen z crowd but after the first time as we were departing chef asked me if i could put a tripadvisor review to get their name out and i said i would. so here were are. dont ruin this place dont take selfies or pics of dishes. it is poor manners! love you andre. thank you ali

Wow, very impressive. The restaurant is very cozy, staff very gentle and professional and the food, well what to say about the food, just AMAZING, best food we had on our trip here and reasonably priced. Highly recommend. Just one thing, make sure to book a table or you might not be able to get in.
