Cottura delle carni da manuale, abbinamenti di gusti originali senza essere inutilmente provocanti. Servizio ottimo. Carta dei vini buona ma migliorabile soprattutto per la scelta dei vini al calice.
Già il menù di mezzogiorno in settimana è ottimo ma per vivere pienamente l'esperienza i piatti "à la carte" sono eccezionali.

I find that reviews are somewhat two dimensional, no matter how you try to write a review. I give this place full marks, like a lot of other places but the difference with this place is it has that third dimension. The class, the friendliness, the food, the food, the wine and the food. We have not encountered the depth of flavour like this before. If you want big portion sizes, look elsewhere but you don't need it here. Sizing is just right, taste is spot on and lastly, the price was a major surprise given the quality of what was offered. If you are within an hour of Albino, you would do yourself a disservice if you didn't make a booking. If you are further away, make a night of it and book away and enjoy brilliant food and service.

What do you have to do to earn 5 stars? Being almost perfect since absolute perfection does not exist. In this restaurant some things can still be easily improved and therefore I would say that four stars is the fairest rating. Let me start by saying that I really liked the starter, consisting of a tartare and that I also liked the meat-based second course (but already here there was a problem, the meat arrived almost cold and did nothing but cool down further on the plate). Avoidable? Certain! However, I didn't particularly appreciate the dessert. Too many flavors together and discordant from my point of view. Modernity is fine, the chef who thought of it is fine (it must have cost him a lot of imaginative effort) but you have to be careful not to create a jumble, the flavors must marry, not divorce. The wine was good and I thank you for the mini appetizer offered by the house as well as the mini predesserts.
I would also like to point out that the bathroom is quite clean but could be improved both aesthetically and hygienically. The passage that takes you from the elevator to the restaurant is ugly, with abandoned chairs left and right and walls that need to be repainted. For lovers of "climbing", there are also quite a few steps to reach the restaurant component (which is included in the hotel). The structure that houses the restaurant is beautiful and ancient. Friendly staff.
