Nashville Pub In Palermo

We're back after many years. The atmosphere is still great, but the food is all prepackaged. The skewers in the boxes in the fridge (in Palermo!) are out of your reach. I really don't understand the cover charge at a sandwich/appetizer shop, and for the quality of the food, the prices are high.

I was a regular customer thirty years ago... and then I never went back.... today I tried again... and I went back in time... with an excellent white beer on tap, a delicious mixed fried appetizer and above all the sandwich... just like a long time ago... exquisite!!

I returned after a long time, but really a long time and I rediscovered the taste of the 90s sandwich shop when in Palermo the sandwich shops could be counted on the fingers of one hand, with a nice dusting off of the style. The place offers as always, also seats outside but I always preferred the inside, welcoming and very clean. Open kitchen, I ate with friends and as a couple both the classic sandwich, of considerable size, with a vast menu for all palates, on Saturday instead I preferred a 180g hamburger cooked to perfection, with the addition of other condiments including a wonderful egg I think the sandwich was called 'madonita' They have a decent assortment of beers and a nice display of wines, for all tastes. Present and discreet staff. I also exchanged a few words with the owners, nice and helpful. Finally what can I say if not to invite you to go and try this location in person.

Cozy atmosphere with friendly staff. Delicious sandwiches. Maybe a flaw…….. slightly expensive. Otherwise highly recommended.

Nice place to be. Although name is somewhat deceiving, there are more Italian dish than American diet 😄 Asked about steak, but it doesn't look like nashville style from photia I was provided, no fries and stuff, more artistic steak. Then ordered spaghetti carbonara and that was delicious. Just remind - dont search America there 😄

Historic venue, renovated, renovated and reopened in 2019. Typical Palermo pub dishes and drinks. When crowded, the room is very noisy, but cheerful. Good quality of food. Kitchen open even late at night, practically "a safe haven"; where to "land" to eat and drink even after the cinema or theatre. Friendly and helpful staff with customers. It is often difficult to find parking for the car in the immediate vicinity; but, 100 meters away (on the corner with Viale Strasburgo) there is a small car park with blue lines, free after 8pm. The street on which the restaurant is located is a little noisy (there are outdoor tables when the weather is good). We gladly went back.
