Napoli Notte In Napoli

I was staying at an AirBnB nearby. On my first night in Naples, I walked by this unassuming restaurant. What caught my eyes were the picture of their Zuppa di cozze alla Napoletana. I decided to drop by hear the next night for dinner. I started off having the zuppa di cozze follow by a fresh pasta with octopus. Holy smoke, the zuppa is should a a full meal. It came out in a giant bowl loaded with mussels, clams, shrimps, and octopus. Under the seafood was 2 pieces of bread that soaked up the soup. All of this for 13 euro. I was almost full by the time that I finished the zuppa. I decided to have my pasta to go because I would not be able to make a dent on the pasta. The service was fantastic. I was lucky that night, there was a guy playing the guitar. He was AWESOME!!!!!

I won't sugarcoat it, but I think the rating was inflated solely by the waiter. There's not enough parmesan and wine to cover up this disgraceful lasagna. 🙈 I walked in off the street without even checking the reviews. I just saw what they had on the menu. The waiter was very nice, coming over every now and then and chatting. I thought it was impossible to mess up the tiramisu. But someone didn't mix the ingredients properly when making the mixture.

If you want to spend time in a place outside the "mainstream" and eat REAL typical Neapolitan dishes, this is the place for you. Recommended by a Neapolitan friend (which is already a guarantee), my wife and I spent 2 fantastic hours chatting with the owner Salvatore (the table was right in front of the counter). Taking his advice, we tasted - Neapolitan mussel soup - buffalo mozzarella - scialatielli alla Luciana - scialiatelli potatoes provola and bacon - lemon tiramisu (a specialty that only his wife Marisa prepares) Everything really tasty, very fresh fish, accompanied by a good white wine! Absolutely recommended!!

Absolutely beaitiful place. Serive was friendly, food was fantastic and mood was warm.

After three evenings in Naples, finally a quiet place, where you eat well in excellent company, I will return again, thanks.

Siamo stati attirati in questo locale da Mario un ragazzo gentilissimo che ci ha raccontato tutti i vari cibi che potevamo gustare. Cibo ottimo piatti abbondanti personale gentilissimo. Sicuramente ritorneremo se passiamo da Napoli
