The edges needed sharpening...
The lamb was tough.
The revisited tiramisu was very disappointing, with a few dry cakes under a pile of overly sweet whipped cream, dusted with cocoa.
The tiramisu hallmarks were absent, and the result was uninteresting.

On May 5, 2025, returning from the fort, we stopped at Nana's for lunch.
I already arrived with very high expectations from the social content and I was not disappointed at all.
The style and technique of Gianluca that he instilled in all the staff is absolutely an example at a national level.
We took the grilled marrow with tartare and a 1kg Cà Negra rib, aged for 7 months with a side of grilled vegetables and a selection of focaccia.
We didn't drink anything as we had to face a rather long car journey back home immediately afterwards, but the selection is impressive.
The Sala staff were great, I'm not good with names but the highly trained head nurse accompanied us throughout the entire meal experience without ever rushing us and trying to deeply understand our needs. I already had clear ideas when I saw it on the menu.
They also accompanied us to the butcher's shop to meet the manager of the grill (again, I'm really sorry, I'm not good with names), friendly and knowledgeable.
The execution of the cooking was masterful.
The steak was sectioned into 4 parts, central sirloin, spinalis, intercostal fat and bone, and 4 different cooking methods were done which best enhanced the product which in itself is incredible.
I've never seen this done anywhere, BRAVI.
Cooked on Argentinian charcoal, the meat was perfectly cooked with almost no external gray lines and a predominant Maillard.
In short, it couldn't have been done better.
There is the whole menu to try, so from today onwards it will certainly be an obligatory stop every time I pass through Cisa.
I don't argue about prices because they are subjective, the place offers products for all budgets.

One of those places that is really worth visiting. Steaks - perfectly cooked, juicy and full of flavor, plus great wines and fair prices. The service was nice and competent. By far the best meat I've had in La Spezia. A place worth recommending - without pomp, but with excellent cuisine.

Uno di quei posti che vale davvero la pena visitare. Le bistecche sono cotte alla perfezione: succose, saporite e accompagnate da ottimi vini a prezzi onesti. Servizio cordiale e professionale. Senza dubbio la carne migliore che abbia mangiato a La Spezia. Consigliatissimo – senza fronzoli, ma con una cucina eccellente.

One of those places that you walk out of there and say 'wow'. Where expectations are greatly exceeded…
We had the €90 tasting with many specialties such as Japanese wagyu, angus, Piedmontese cow tartare, the cube that practically melted in the mouth due to how tender it was... I must say 'abundant'/normal courses (honestly I expected to leave there and still be hungry😁.. but no).. we tasted their tiramisu... each dish taken care of down to the smallest detail with equal attention in describing the course and how enjoy it to the fullest .. an experience to be had .. trained and courteous staff (even if not all of them: in short, you can tell if they don't like your face or don't think you are up to par with the place).. excellent quality of the meat .. clean and refined place ..
there is also a children's menu.. the nuggets were delicious.. and they brought the dishes first for the children 👌

Probamos este restaurante mientras nos alojamos en La Spezia. Está muy cerca de la casa de huéspedes en la que nos alojamos. Es un restaurante de carnes que sirve todo tipo de cortes de carne. Tuvimos una deliciosa cena allí. Tomé un filete de Black Angus, y mi esposo tomó el Wagyu, acompañado de papas y verduras, sin olvidar el excelente vino tinto.
