I met Nana on social media. On our way back from vacation, my partner and I decided to stop in La Spezia to try her restaurant.
The welcome and kindness of the staff was excellent.
We ordered the dry-aged fillet and sirloin.
The cooking was excellent and the flavor was excellent, further enhanced by the selection of salts they brought to our table to accompany the meat.

Excellent quality meats, delicious!!
The restaurant scores points thanks to the waiter (a dark-haired, curly-haired man) who was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and personable. He understood what we wanted to eat and gave us excellent advice! Without him, the place wouldn't be the same.

Nana's tasting menu, a mystical experience.
Gianluca Nana has created a temple to the excellence of his products in La Spezia, taking meat lovers on a surprising journey of flavors. The tasting menu is always evolving; in our case, we started with beef tartare and continued with Angus pulled pork in a corn taco, which unleashed a surprising flavor. The main courses included Nana dry-aged beef and Japanese wagyu, accompanied by caramelized cherry tomatoes.
The wine list is also very well-curated; for a tasting, we recommend a structured wine like a Nebbiolo, a Barolo, or a Amarena... depending on your taste.

It exceeded expectations; for meat lovers, it's a must-try experience. The owner and his staff are a great team; you can feel everyone's passion and hard work behind it. Their dedication to quality goes into the preparation and enhancement of their products, and the price is more than fair.
The attention to quality begins with the appetizer and continues through to the coffee and liqueur...they even have a dedicated menu for everything...in short, it's a complete 360° experience!

Nana Restaurant in La Spezia was an incredible discovery! The credit goes above all to Gianluca, the owner: a very kind, friendly man, and exceptionally knowledgeable. He led us on a true journey of flavors, letting us taste delicacies you can't find anywhere else. The meat is top-notch, carefully selected and cooked to perfection... lots and lots of it! And honorable mention for the coppa he makes: a handmade masterpiece, full of flavor and passion. Here you don't just eat: you enjoy an authentic gastronomic experience, with rare customer service. Highly recommended!

An esoteric experience.
The restaurant is beautifully presented, with waitresses explaining the entire menu.
The preparation of the raw materials is perfect.
The cured meats were amazing, and the meat was delicious.
I truly recommend it to everyone; it can be called a temple of meat.
