Great Food, Warm Staff — But Disappointing Ending Ristorante Pizzeria Naïf could have been one of the best dining experiences I had in Palermo if not for the owner and insect in the red wine. The gnocchi was absolutely delicious— Gnocchi with tomato and mozzarella was pillowy soft and coated in a rich, flavorful sauce that truly stole the show. That dish alone made the visit worthwhile. We also had a fresh salad that was vibrant, crisp, and thoughtfully prepared—not the afterthought you sometimes get elsewhere. The Margherita pizza was also good, with a nicely balanced crust. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the waiter staff were genuinely kind and attentive throughout the meal. Unfortunately, the overall experience was dampened by a few issues that happened after the meal. After we paid our bill, we ordered two shots of limoncello as a digestivo—something that is often offered on the house in many Italian restaurants, especially after a full meal. Instead, we were surprised to see we were charged for two caffè amari, which we didn’t order. It felt a bit dishonest, especially since we were expecting a small gesture, not an upcharge from the owner! On top of that, the red wine we originally ordered had to be sent back due to several flies or mosquitoes—about six—in the glass. The staff handled the situation politely, but it was still an unpleasant surprise. In short: the food and the waiter service were great, but the actions of the owner and the final moments of our visit left a sour note on what could have been a perfect dining experience.

My wife and I are delighted to return often, especially during the week after work. The staff are friendly, and the owner is always smiling and welcoming. The food is delicious and expertly prepared. Highly recommended.

A point of reference, good catering, as far as the pizzeria is concerned The pizzas are large and well garnished with good product, the dough needs to be improved as it is difficult to digest. I give 4 stars for the catering, as a pizzeria 3 stars.

Ho ordinato una margherita con bufala e prosciutto cotto, bufalaccia nel loro menu. A parte un’ora per una pizza, ma vabbè, era preventivato nell’app ed è arrivata nei tempi prestabiliti. Ma la qualità, che dire… la mozzarella non era bufala, e se lo era non era buona, ma il prosciutto… non solo era veramente infimo (cioè quel tipo di prosciutto che lo vedi tutto marmorizzato) che forse era pure spalla. Ma era rancido! L’odore che emanava era inequivocabile, non l’ha voluto neanche il gatto.
