A dire la verità sono rimasta delusa....mi aspettavo qualcosa di meglio! Sicuramente l'ambiente è bello, piazzetta silenziosa con tavoli all'aperto e ottima musica di sottofondo che ti permette di chiacchierare con i commensali. Per quanto riguarda il cibo senza infamia e senza lode....se doveste decidere di andare dopo aver letto il menù ed ordinato, non vi aspettate il wow....consiglio al proprietario un pò più di loquacità e non solo monosillabi.

If you pass through Isernia you cannot miss this corner of culinary paradise, with special and typical local dishes. A real certainty for meat lovers, the first courses are also delicious. I recommend spaghetti alla guitar with caramelized onion and truffle :)

We ate very well from starters to desserts. Excellent value for money

A place with a retro flavour. Tastefully furnished, with frescoed vaulted ceilings that create a truly pleasant and particular atmosphere. The toilet is also tastefully furnished and in harmony with the rest of the room A menu with typical dishes for all tastes. Our choice fell on an appetizer of local cheeses accompanied by three types of compote, peppers, pears and truffled honey and a portion of "pallotte cacio e ova" which are bread balls made with eggs and cheese served stewed. For the first courses we took pappardelle with mushrooms and truffle, bauletti with broccoli and caciocavallo and spaghetti alla guitar with stewed onion and truffle. The spaghetti alla guitar was truly a surprise. An apparently simple dish but very delicate and pleasant on the palate, like baultetti, which are rectangular ravioli with an abundant and well-balanced filling of broccoli and caciocavallo. Nothing to complain about the mushroom and truffle pappardelle either. For the second course I wanted to try the pecata alla capracottese, a very soft sheep stew, stewed with carrots and celery. The dishes are very generous and the staff are kind and friendly, excellent value for money. Definitely a place to stop in Isernia to satisfy your palate. The restaurant also has an outdoor area in a very pretty square.
