The lasagna was very cheesy, but the paccheri al ragu bianco was very meaty and olive-flavored. Perfectly suited our tastes. Everything was great.

We took a detour for it, and it was more than worth it. We had the Stivale pizza (delicious!) and the Alba (a little too much truffle oil perhaps, but the flavor was fantastic). There was a short wait, but you were shown to a table; otherwise, the service was very friendly!

Absolutely delicious food and flawless service! We went here for our last night in Venice and we were so glad that we chose this as our final spot. The food was incredible and we could not fault the service. The waiters were attentive and fast. What an incredible end to our time in Venice and Italy! Highly recommend!

Wow what a spectacular restaurant!!! We chose this for our last night in Venezia and we couldn’t be happier. The food and smiling service from the staff is absolutely incredible. Try the squid ink or lemon mussel spaghetti, tiramisu, and panna cotta, you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommend 10/10 ⭐️

Amazingly good! After you tried its spaghetti dishes, you want to throw those USA ones out of the window. The tiramisu is little too sweet for me but it's still good and different. Needless to say more, just try it!

Locanda al Convento

10/09/2025: I found Locanda al Convento simply by poking around on Google maps looking for something close to the Venice airport since we would be returning a rental car and flying out the next morning. I still can't believe how lucky I was to stumble on this place. Dario is a great host, friendly and helpful. The accommodations were very clean and comfortable. The setting is peaceful and quiet. It was a night off for his restaurant, but Dario was more than helpful in suggesting some local dining options, and went so far as to make the dinner reservation for us. Dario must be a local favorite because the people at the restaurant knew who he is, and they treated us well, and the food was delicious. We like cats and there were at least three very friendly outdoor cats that made us welcome. We would definitely stay here again, and would try to schedule it for Wednesday - Sunday when his restaurant is open.
15/08/2025: Great restaurant and small hotel. The owner is a fantastic host. When flying from Venice I will definitely stay here again!

04/07/2025: An Unforgettable First Time at Restaurant Napoli We visited Restaurant Napoli for the first time today, and it was a complete success. Upon entering, we received a warm welcome and were immediately impressed by the lovingly crafted and original decor. The chef (Girardo) personally presented the menus to us with charm and passion; that in itself was an experience. We chose a meat dish and a fresh fish dish, both excellently prepared. For starters, we shared a tender beef carpaccio. We enjoyed the house wine, which was pleasantly smooth and perfectly complemented the meal. To finish, we were surprised with a generous house dessert: tiramisu, melon, espresso, and a glass of limoncello on the house. A wonderful evening full of hospitality, quality, and atmosphere. We'll definitely be back! Manfred
