Murgo Winery In Santa venerina

Travelled in September and stayed for three nights. Thank you for the large apartment room. Next time I will bring my family with me , beautiful room , shower and bath tub. Thank you for the nice welcome drinks in the fridge ( lemonade 🍋, coca , water). Great idea with the what's app chat and the web check in. Location is wonderful with spectacular views of the vineyard and Mt Etna and the sea . Close to Taormina, close to Etna and close to some beautiful hiking in the national park. I had dinner two times there both excellent and sumptuous. One I had the eine tasting menu which was great. A recommendation would be to make some cards for each wine with descriptions in case there is a group and waiters are busy. I had this at a vineyard on Vulcano island - worked perfectly :) . Otherwise wines , and food excellent . Breakfast was excellent too. Thank you San Sebastian & Laura for the fantastic breakfast box for the Etna hike ❤️. Thank you Nancy and everyone for making this stay a wonderful one. Last but not least the pool is very nice.Thank you !

A nice winery, but a bit lacking in soul. A good base for exploring Taormina. Great pool.

An oasis of peace just steps from Catania! From the spacious, welcoming rooms with all the comforts, to the food and excellent wines. We booked a superior room and found ourselves with a bathtub and shower, just the right amount of privacy, and a terrace with sofas overlooking Mount Etna! Top! Then we had dinner, and the next day we toured the cellar and tasted the wines... everything delicious and carefully prepared. The service was impeccable, and the cellar tour was very interesting with detailed explanations. Breakfast was excellent, with savory options available upon request! We'll definitely be back!

A wonderful experience at this property, both for the stay, the pool, and the tour of the wineries. The staff were professional, helpful, reliable, and excellent. Highly recommended. It offers parking and all the amenities.

Our stay at Tenuta San Michele was a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing experience. After days of exploring the surrounding area, a dip in the well-maintained pool was just the thing to unwind and recharge. The atmosphere at the winery was warm and authentic. The staff and owners welcomed us with genuine hospitality, openness, and a remarkable warmth that made our stay truly special. The in-house restaurant was also a highlight: There, you can expect not only a delicious selection of authentic Sicilian cuisine, but also excellent wines directly from the estate, all at fair prices.

A very quiet, comfortable, and reasonably-sized place, located halfway between Mount Etna and Taormina. A magnificent pool and excellent breakfast. The staff were attentive. We had a wonderful stay in a privileged location.

Our group of 17 was treated wonderfully. The food was cooked to perfection and excellent wines. Beautiful scenery with grape vines as a roof.
