Excellent Piacenza trattoria a stone's throw from the center. Nice atmosphere with two internal rooms plus the possibility of a large outdoor area for the warmer periods. Excellent service with kind and helpful staff. Excellent menu with typical Piacenza dishes alternating with more refined dishes, for appetizers, first courses and second courses. The only flaw that kept me from giving the food 5 stars were the desserts, with few alternatives and a tiramisu (which I had) that was not a real tiramisu, with the cream too light and cloying in the long run and without the classic soaked biscuits. It may be a personal taste, but I certainly expected more, given the other dishes. Absolutely good price and free coffee! To return, (trying another dessert).
