A pleasant afternoon, full of Black Jack flavors... I love this pastry shop, and today with Aurora, everything was sweetly thoughtful and attentive. It's hard to choose among so many pastries, baked goods, and so much more! Thanks, we'll be back soon!

Black Jack is located right on the Squarciarelli roundabout, in a super convenient location. It has private parking for customers; finding parking isn't too difficult, although during certain hours it can be tricky, so you have to be lucky. Let's leave aside the tobacconist's service to focus on the pastry shop and bar. The location is well-maintained; you'll find simple furnishings, but that's fine. The rooms are large and spacious; if I'm not mistaken, there's even a room downstairs with a billiards table. Ideal for private parties. Let's move on to the food. If we close our eyes to the constant price hikes, breakfast at Black Jack is a pleasure. The cappuccino is excellent, and the croissants are fragrant, although I prefer them filled (perhaps with cream or jam). I have to say, I've had better plain croissants, but the ones you'll find at Black Jack are still good, don't get me wrong. Moving on to the pastry shop: if we have a birthday to celebrate, Black Jack is always one of our first choices. The cakes are delicious, delicious, and just the right size. Price-wise, we're in line with the market average, so everything's fine. So, if you need a nice cake for a party or want a great breakfast, Black Jack is the place for you.

The Bar H24 in Grottaferrata has become a true landmark for me. The location is extremely convenient, with ample outdoor parking that makes everything easy, and the interior is spacious, bright, and welcoming from the first step. In addition to the bar service, there's also a tobacco shop, an added bonus that makes it even more convenient. The staff is always prompt and professional: valuable qualities, especially in a job that requires patience and constant contact with the customer, which is often underestimated. The coffee is truly excellent, thanks in part to the Portioli blend, and the selection of pastries, mini pastries, and desserts is surprisingly extensive. I sampled a filled croissant and a perfectly prepared cappuccino: fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. Special praise goes to the pastry shop: the display is carefully curated and inviting, the desserts are always fresh, and the quality is such that it has become my regular choice. I ordered a millefeuille with Chantilly cream and chocolate chips, truly exceptional in both flavor and decoration. Once again, the courtesy of the staff who took my order made all the difference. Compliments to the entire staff: working with the public isn't easy, yet here they manage to do it with a smile and rare professionalism. A place truly worth recommending. Prices are a bit high.

Congratulations on the pastry shop, excellent display, super fresh desserts, it's a staple for me and I won't change. I ordered a mille-feuille cake with Chantilly cream and chocolate chips. It was delicious 😋. The decoration too. And the kindness of the people who took my order. Congratulations 👏💯 It's not an easy job dealing with the public, everyone knows that, but few understand it.

Nice place, hard to park during rush hour. Fresh and tasty pastries and baked goods. The maritozzo is excellent, and the fruit puff pastry is delicious and beautifully colored. The prices for the mini pastries and tartlets are not calculated per kilo, but per piece, and almost all cost €3. Friendly service. The pastries are truly excellent! The ingredients are high quality, fresh, and the aesthetics are not to be underestimated! Presenting them in a cabaret setting is a surefire way to make a good impression! The mini pastries are larger than average, and even just one is a satisfying experience. The ice cream cakes are delicious and fresh, and the serving staff are very friendly, if a little slow.

16/01/2026: Friendly staff, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, excellent pizza, and a wide selection of Roman and Neapolitan dishes. They also offer first and second courses, as well as daily specials. Prices are reasonable, and parking is convenient. Recommended.

07/03/2026: A quiet spot just steps from the center of Velletri, ideal for enjoying local cuisine!
01/03/2026: Back after several years. Key points: The €15 fixed menu on Sunday was truly plentiful and excellent. Specifically, I ordered lasagna (and I'm very critical when it comes to lasagna, but it was truly good and plentiful), stew, and potatoes, without realizing the size of the portions. Nevertheless, I finished everything with gusto, because it was truly delicious. The only flaw was the supplì (ordered separately, not from the fixed menu): they were cold and, in any case, not exceptional (I remember well how they made them a few years ago, since we always loved them, and something has certainly changed). However, no big deal, you can't always be perfect in everything. We also ordered grilled chicken breast, cutlet, and fries, and it was all very good. Price: for three of us, including drinks, coffee, and ice cream, €60 total! Since we left really full and satisfied, it seems like a very fair price, especially on a Sunday. Parking: that's a sore point, but it's not due to the restaurant itself. Unfortunately, the area is well known for its scarcity and constant parking, at any time of day or night. Like almost all of Velletri. In any case, a quick stroll after a delicious meal is a good thing. Service: The staff was quick and courteous, despite the place being quite busy and crowded. The food arrived in a more than acceptable amount of time and without a hitch. I wanted to give it 4.5 stars, taking half off only for the supplì, but you can't give half stars. Still, consider it a 4.5. If you go back to the delicious supplì of the past, I'll give it a full 5 stars 😅 Jokes aside, overall, I definitely recommend it. I'll be back to try other dishes, and definitely the pizza (they don't serve it at lunch).
