On a hot day, after a long walk through the wonderful streets of Matera, we stopped to recharge our batteries. We found a wonderful host who recommended what we could order for the kids. The burger choice was very good, we ate it all. I highly recommend it. 😊❤️

Abbiamo mangiato due volte a pranzo e a cena, un bel menù, anche di pasti tipici di Matera, sia i primi che il baccalà e la carni freschi e buoni.

Abbiamo mangiato una cheesecake deliziosa e due cocktail analcolici altrettanto buoni. Il personale è stato gentile e cordiale, creando un'atmosfera accogliente. La location è molto bella, ben curata e in tema con il contesto di Matera. L'unico neo è il prezzo, che mi è sembrato un po' elevato, giustificato forse dalla posizione centrale. Nel complesso, una buona esperienza!

Kappador la finestra sui Sassi

20/07/2025: It was an excellent lunch; we ate on the terrace, which has a beautiful view. The dishes were good, especially the peppered mussels and the first course (strascinati with sausage, Matera bread, and crusco peppers on a caciocavallo cream that was out of this world). The ingredients seemed high-quality. My only complaint: the service was a bit slow. Good value (also considering the very central location).
13/07/2025: I returned to Kappador after some time away, and I can say that the experience was even better than I remembered. We dined on the terrace with a view, in a truly enchanting atmosphere. Everything was impeccable: attentive service, carefully prepared and flavorful dishes, quality ingredients, and a presentation that demonstrates care and passion. I found a place that had grown, improved in every detail, without losing its distinctive authenticity. An evening with friends that turned into an experience to remember. Congratulations!
