I've never eaten ice cream this good...we went to the award-winning ice cream parlor in Siena, but the ice cream at Mordilatte was worlds better! They should win the award for the world's best ice cream!

One of the best gelatos in Florence! I live in another part of the city, but I come here specifically because it's truly worth it. The gelato has an exquisite flavor and perfect consistency: creamy without being heavy. The flavors are varied and delicious, from fruit to creamy, from the classic hazelnut to pistachio, and even chocolate! The cremino and mordirock are excellent, but don't miss the yogurt and raspberry flavors, or the blackberry cheesecake, salted caramel, and pistachio cremino, and so on.
The outdoor area is definitely more suited to kids just out of school than a cool hangout spot, but both for the gelato and the always friendly and smiling staff, it's absolutely a must-try for fans of this Italian specialty like me.
