Wow! The carbonara and ragu were so bloody authentic! The food, drinks, service but the highlight was Paula! She is so welcoming and we had many laughs. Put on your ‘to eat’ places.

I can attest, this place is good! We were craving eggs and pancakes and found this really good breakfast spot with many items on the menu. We got omelettes, scrambled eggs, pancakes and cappuccino!

Pizzeria Da Gianni al Mattone

23/12/2025: I grew up in Primavalle, right in front of Pizza al Mattone. I'm now 32, and the pizzeria is an institution. Gianni's experience is unparalleled, and it shows: his stuffed pizza is reminiscent of the Roman pizza we used to eat when we were kids...those who live in Rome can only agree! The white pizza is crunchy, filled with quality ingredients, and perfectly flavorful. An incredible pizza in its simplicity! Try it to believe it. Highly recommended.
