There were only a few of us, so the owner was able to linger at our table to tell us how passionately he makes his choices, to ensure the experience at his restaurant is impeccable. Bravo, because I ate very well.

A very elegant restaurant with a beautiful garden in the heart of Salerno. Tables are well spaced so you can't hear the noise of other diners. The decor is very thoughtful. We had an excellent, perfectly cooked beef fillet with vegetables. I recommend the grilled artichoke because it's delicious. The only shame is that the portions are so small. I thought it would be more expensive, but for two fillets, two portions of vegetables, a glass of red wine, and a bottle of mineral water, we paid €100 in total. I'll definitely return. It's probably best to avoid weekends. I went during the week and had no problem finding a table for two for dinner even without a reservation.

Incredible experience! Reasonable price for the quality. The cheese platter was beautifully presented, and the servers provided excellent service! The Wagyu beef was simply tender and melted in your mouth, and the tartare with truffle shavings was wow!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at MOOD! The steak was outstanding, the sommelier made an incredible recommendation for a red wine (their selection is incredible) ... hands down one of my favourite places!

A wonderful experience at this steakhouse in Salerno. The Iberian pork was absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked. It paired beautifully with a good wine recommended by the staff.
The service was friendly and attentive.

Location: 4/5
Located in the city center, the restaurant boasts an elegant and contemporary interior. The table setting is minimal yet thoughtful, in keeping with the modern aesthetic of the space. Appreciable details include a serving table and a dedicated stool for carrying a bag. The welcome is attentive, and the table's comfort is well-balanced. There is also a terrace, either enclosed or semi-enclosed, but we didn't test it on this occasion.
Menu: 4/5
The menu focuses on quality meats, with select cuts and a variety that satisfies even those less inclined to eat a steakhouse. The wine list is a strong point: a wide, carefully selected selection, with large formats available. A solid offering, consistent with the restaurant's positioning.
Service: 3/5
Adequate, but below expectations for a restaurant of this size. Dishes arrive silently or with minimal information, without any description or context about the meats or wines served. In a high-end steakhouse, you'd expect more informed and engaging service, capable of accompanying the tasting. Functional, but lacking depth.
Bill: 4/5
Prices are in line with the quality of the ingredients and the location of the restaurant. No surprises at checkout: you pay what you get.

In my humble opinion, the best ingredients (which are of the highest quality and finest) should be used: the flavor of the duck was overpowered by that of the grill (that is, perfectly cooked, juicy, tender, and the orange cream and celeriac accompanying it were fantastic). Playing a little more with the delicacy of the flavors (I appreciated the intensity and strength of the flavors, but in some dishes it was a bit excessive: e.g., the blue cheese on cabbage in the appetizer) I found the pumpkin ravioli to be the best dish (an excellent interplay of flavors between the sweetness of the pumpkin and the savoryness of the Parmesan and pork stock). Finally, I would recommend paying more attention to the plating of the Iberian suckling pig with radicchio (they put half a radicchio on the plate with the barbecue on top, making it difficult to taste).
That said, the sourcing of ingredients is magnificent, the plating (except for the suckling pig) is stunning, the wine is excellent, the meat is excellent, the service and customer care worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant, the staff are incredibly kind and there's plenty of room to listen and critique. The flavors are excellent and full in the mouth, the venue is beautiful, the table setting is beautiful, the price is very reasonable, and the menu is extensive and intriguing (I had the "World Tour" tasting, but I'll definitely be back to try other dishes). I would recommend this restaurant to friends and return, but I would urge them to pay more attention to the small details I mentioned above. This restaurant has a LOT of potential (for the ingredients) and is already exploiting it (truly phenomenal flavors), but in my opinion it could almost reach a STAR. For now, it's not a 5-star rating based on what I've eaten. I'll be back, trying dishes from the menu and not the tasting menu, and I'll be happy to change my mind and give it a 5.

We had a great time, the atmosphere was elegant, the staff were very kind and professional, and attentive to the needs of the customers. We ate divinely, with fresh, high-quality products, excellent wine, and the price was right. We will definitely be back as soon as we are back in Salerno.
