I'm from Lecce, and when I'm in Bari, which happens quite often, I always stop at Montecristo...the best focaccia in Bari, thin, tasty, and crunchy...the panzarotti are also excellent, especially the cacio e pepe, but all the produce is top-quality...thanks

A charming little place offering fried and baked goods, primarily for takeout. The business is professionally managed, with exceptional cleanliness, friendly staff, and organized order preparation. The counter offers a wide variety of products with a variety of fillings, especially the fried panzerotti, available in a variety of flavors. Prices are perhaps slightly higher than average, but justified by the excellent quality of the products.

A wonderful place, wonderfully fresh and hot panzerotti, wonderfully aromatic foccacia. My walk in Torre a Mare ended right here. The wonderful girls (I'm still not sure if they're sisters or mother and daughter :P) make wonderful Apulian delicacies. They also have takeout pizza, but I didn't plan on eating much. However, I'm already planning to return to the Apulian coast soon, and then I'll be happy to invite my kids here :) The best option is takeout and eat while listening to the waves on the promenade :)

Definitely one of the bakeries you should try if you're in Bari, located on the waterfront with a lovely view. We tried several products, including a very good focaccia and small but very filling panzerotti. My only complaints are the very slow service (I've attached a photo of the hour-long line we had) and the focaccia, which was quite burnt on the bottom. Still, I recommend it.

Excellent place for panzerotti and focaccia. The products are all delicious, made with the highest-quality ingredients. There's usually a long line, so you have to wait at least 15-20 minutes. I highly recommend everyone try it.

What can I say...one tastes better than the other, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, very tasty.... "unfortunately" to understand which taste I prefer I think I'll have to go back often! Recommended for those who want to experience the Bari area 100% by the sea TOP

29/08/2025: Magnificent Agriturismo! Well located, super clean, and absolutely idyllic place surrounded by olive trees and vineyards! An exterior with a magnificent and very clean swimming pool! The evening cuisine is excellent at a very reasonable price! All the staff, and in particular Angela, were very attentive and we felt very pampered with our 4-month-old baby.

30/11/2025: We went to this pizzeria and ordered an appetizer and a pizza. The appetizer, a puree with cardoncelli mushrooms, was decently simple but tasty, with no particular negatives. The disappointment, however, came with the pizza. The dough seemed almost pre-cooked, as if it were already made and simply reheated. The texture was strange, with very little hydration, making it practically inedible. The toppings were also bland and lacking in character, contributing to an overall very disappointing result. It's a shame, because the appetizer left us hoping for something better. Unfortunately, as for the pizza, my experience was decidedly negative. Not recommended.
17/09/2025: A trattoria offering takeout (especially panzerotti and pizzas) and a menu of traditional local dishes. Quick and friendly service.
