We found this place thanks to the fork app. And it was the discovery of the month 😻we got to a real "Italian place" where everything was truly authentic. Elegant atmosphere and romantic music, an unusual menu with exquisite dishes (I chose veal tongue with artichokes and basil), noble wine and a dessert that left us speechless. 🥹Thank you, after 8 years of living in Rome, I found a wonderful place near Termini station, where you can feel like you are in Rome. I met Mr. Domenico in 2006... I returned to the family restaurant after almost 20 years with my wife and some friends. The air of genuineness, of family, of intimate welcome has not passed, indeed today it is still wonderfully marked. We tasted a second course and a side dish together with the cruschi peppers, typical of Lucania, and the profiteroles (delicious). We remained suspended in a dimension of other times for the time of dinner. Everything delicious. The prices are adequate for the level of the cuisine (not banal, the whole menu is truly special and appetizing). We will definitely return!

A real stroke of luck in Rome... authentic, familiar and at the highest level I have been to numerous excellent restaurants, including many with Michelin stars. It was all the more surprising that a few steps lead down to a small, traditional family restaurant that has existed since 1974... and which completely thrilled us. What is served here is not only fresh and homemade, but is in no way inferior in quality and taste to the big names in star cuisine. Each course was prepared with attention to detail, honest, authentic and full of flavor… exactly what we were looking for. The service was also great. Everything is in the hands of the family, which is clearly reflected in the warmth and atmosphere. You feel welcome, almost like part of this family... without any fake friendliness or touristy frills. This restaurant isn't just done in a "traditional" way...it is. If you are looking for a real, typically Italian restaurant that is not aimed at tourists but at locals, you will find it here. An absolute recommendation… we will definitely be back!

Premetto che ho moglie, cognata e suoceri lucani e per questo sono (forse) troppo emotivamente coinvolto ma mangiare i cruschi croccanti al punto giusto o i fusilli co a muddica a due passi da casa non ha prezzo…..la prossima volta proverò anche altro, dolci compresi.
