Small but very welcoming, the staff is attentive and knowledgeable! The food is excellent, as are the cocktails. I highly recommend it, it's delicious, truly interesting! You absolutely have to come and try it, it's worth it!

We visited this place last night and had a really good time. The place is welcoming, with attention to detail and a pleasant atmosphere, in true Cuban style. The dishes are well-prepared and carefully presented, both in terms of the quality of the ingredients and the aesthetics. The Caribbean tradition is clearly present despite the modern style of the dishes. A place where you eat well and feel at ease, with very friendly and attentive staff. The idea of ​​pairing the cocktails with the dishes is a very nice one.

Great Cuban cooking experience! Very characteristic place with always smiling staff and ready to recommend their typical dishes and accompanying drinks. Medium-high prices but in line with the quality (50/70€ per person)

Monkey in the City is one of those rare places that instantly feels special. Run by an amazing professional couple who truly care about what they do — every dish, every detail shows it. The food is excellent, the service even better, and the vibe is unlike anything else you’ll find in Milan. The owner has genuinely become a friend over time, which says everything about the spirit of this place.

15/02/2026: The original place we wanted to go to was fully booked and I'm kinda glad it was. This restaurant was great! The staff was very accommodating, even offering us brushcetta right as we had sat down. The place was really cosy and comfortable, perfect for a Valentine's Day Date. The service was really fast and the food was delicious! The veal was something I was looking forward to when coming to Milan and the one we had here did not disappoint. The desserts were also really good, with the tiramisu especially being one of the best I've had.
14/01/2026: Really loved this place! Delicious food (we had pizza) and such an authentic atmosphere. The staff were welcoming and warm, despite the language barrier—they tried hard to use the English they knew and even used gestures to communicate with us. Prices were great. Definitely recommend!
