We stayed at Barricata for 10 days in September. We'd always stayed at Isamar Holiday Village, but we'd wanted to try this place for a while. Let me just say we were more than disappointed. The children weren't allowed to play freely at the pool, and the supervisors were constantly whistling for every little thing. We were also told there was no age restriction for any of the slides, but we were proven wrong. UNFORTUNATELY!!! The service in the shop was also terrible, as we constantly felt unwelcome. Unfortunately, there are many more points I could mention, but I'll leave them aside. In summary, we ended our vacation two days early because we just wanted to go home. And we're not a family that complains a lot, as we just want a nice vacation with our children, which was absolutely not possible here. We will not recommend this campsite.

We've been coming to this resort for five years and have always had a great time. This year we stayed in a Deluxe Safari Tent, but in previous years we've also tried other accommodations; the highlight of almost all the accommodations is the front porches, a space that's very popular in the summer. The resort isn't too big, so you can easily explore on foot. The amenities are excellent: a market, bar, restaurant, and restrooms. And there are soccer fields, tennis courts, paddle tennis, and volleyball courts, as well as a remarkable water park. Beaches with amenities (and some wilder ones) are just steps away.

My husband, our two small dogs, and I stayed there for 10 nights in September 2025. We stayed in one of the very small mobile homes (21 sq m), designed for 5 people. Well, it was suitable for the four of us, but I imagine it would be difficult with 2 children. Our cottage had one bedroom with a double bed and one bedroom with 3 single beds, one of which was attached horizontally to the wall above. We used this room as a "storage room" for my husband's fishing equipment and all sorts of bags and suitcases. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need for everyday cooking. Except... a coffee machine... but we had brought one with us as a precaution, so we had no problems there. What we liked most was the cleanliness of the entire site and the friendly staff. Neither of us speaks Italian, but with friendly smiles and gestures and a little English, we got along with everyone. Many also spoke German, at least rudimentarily, some even very well. We'll definitely be back. We'll be staying in a bigger house, though.

We stayed at the complex for 10 days with a small dog and an electric car. The mobile home we chose had improved amenities – a second refrigerator was included – and the service (bed linens and final cleaning) was also good. There are charging stations on site, and we were able to charge twice as needed without having to wait. There are no rapid chargers, but that's not a problem because you can usually plan your charging. However, more charging stations will probably need to be added in the future. The dog beach was great, as always. Clean and spacious. Although there were many more dogs in the complex and on the beach this year, the complex was clean. So, either all the owners are consistent and clean up all their mess, or the staff are very attentive.

A great place to relax. The kids absolutely loved it. Swimming pools, a jacuzzi, a soccer field, a volleyball field, and a tennis court. A playground and an area where you can leave your children with entertainers. Competitions and entertainment every day for both children and adults. There's a cafe and a shop on site. Horseback riding and diving are available. Dogs are welcome. The sea.

A short end-of-season break, but all the amenities are still available. Nice place, simple but with everything you need. Clean and tidy, not too noisy, and the entertainers weren't too intrusive. Our glamping site was beautiful. We may have been lucky enough to stay there during the first season, but everything was neat, tidy, and welcoming.

We stayed at Barricata for 11 days and had a great time. We stayed in a Saturno 3XL. The cabin is great. With two bathrooms, there were no traffic jams in the evenings. The spacious, covered terrace is great and, due to its seaside location, very private. However, the musty smell in the cabin was a disadvantage. The campsite is very nice, with great sports facilities and an extensive pool area. The children's pool deserves special mention; its soft bottom makes it perfect for small children. The whirlpools are also a positive feature. The beach is very large, and there's more than enough space. Yes, the water is rather brownish, but that's just normal in this region. The animation team is very motivated and does a great job. The mosquito problem is definitely there, but it's only an issue in the evenings, and if you use spray, you can get through them easily. There are a lot of dogs on site. However, we didn't find this disturbing. We can recommend the campsite and can easily imagine coming back again.

Yes, highly recommended for children.

We returned to Barricata Holiday Village for the third consecutive year, thanks in part to the excellent entertainment we'd enjoyed during previous stays. We regret having to express criticism, especially regarding the entertainment staff, who, we're sure, work hard. However, this year we were rather disappointed. We noticed a marked decline in both the quality of the evening shows and the variety and presence of the activities organized during the day. The difference compared to previous years seemed truly significant and, frankly, unexpected. We hope this is just a temporary situation and that the entertainment can return to the levels that made us fall in love with the village in the first place. Campsite suitable for families with children, with numerous amenities and everything you need for a comfortable week. We stayed in both a Deluxe Tent and a Mobile Home, both very nice, clean, and comfortable options. Unfortunately, we adults didn't like the entertainment because it wasn't very engaging, especially in the evenings where, in such an isolated campground, there isn't much else to do. The beach party, with its music and dancing, was only suitable for teenagers, leaving out a significant portion of the guests: parents. By 10:30 PM, everything ended, and you were forced to come up with something because there was nothing left in the village. The entertainers were very young and not very engaging. Otherwise, the facility was impeccable.
