For my children, aged seven and nine, it was a perfect holiday that offered lots of fun in the water.

A must-see beach in March...very wild

One of the most beautiful holiday destinations in the Delta, with a wide selection of bungalows with every comfort. Perhaps the only flaw is that they're all a bit close together. Otherwise, it's an excellent place.

A great place for a family vacation. The beach is clean, the service is excellent, the staff is very polite and friendly, and the restaurant serves delicious food. We were there for the first time in 2025 and decided to come back again. Everything is great!

Hello, We stayed here for just under two weeks. To address one thing directly: I can't understand the complaints about mosquitoes, gnats, etc., that sometimes lead to negative reviews. When you're in nature, near water... what can you expect? The resort operator can't really be held responsible if you choose a location surrounded by water. Anyone using such reasons to leave negative reviews is, in my opinion, completely out of touch with reality. Now, about Barricata: Upon arrival, we were initially a bit shocked, as the last few kilometers on the way to Barricata were full of empty buildings and ruins. This significantly lowered our expectations for the resort. I have to say, if I had done more research beforehand, I would have known this. So, when we arrived and were expecting the worst, we were greeted by an incredibly friendly lady at reception. Everything went smoothly. We received the key, a briefing on the online map with navigation, and off we went. Now for the highlights: The pool facilities, especially the renovated pool with the slides, are an absolute highlight. The lifeguards deserve special mention. They notice everything, and that's not meant negatively. During my stay, I didn't witness a single accident. Not a single crying child because they collided with another child on the slide or anything like that. There are clear rules, and these are enforced. For example, only one person is allowed on the slide at a time, no regular clothes in the pool, no donuts or mats in the pool, etc. This means that swimmers don't have to argue about who's right or wrong; instead, the lifeguards intervene if the rules are broken. There were absolutely no scuffles or arguments between beachgoers during our stay – the rules are implemented so well that no one gets on anyone else's nerves! Fantastic! We felt very safe with our three children at your resort. Entertainment Staff: The entertainment staff and the daily program are amazing. They're beaming all day long. I think you've found staff you absolutely must keep. The evening program with Sunnydance and the subsequent performance were also really good. Your beach is clean and very shallow, so you can visit with children without any worries. Thumbs up! The sanitary facilities are very modern. The only thing that urgently needs to be increased is the number of washing machines. To do laundry, you either need an incredible amount of luck or you have to come at 3 a.m. and load the washing machine then. Some of the potential laundry doers are so frustrated that they turn off the washing machines and take out the laundry because the person who did the laundry only shows up a minute after the cycle has finished. Here's my advice: Washing machines cost money, but more washing machines would help. I estimate that a total of 6 to 9 would ease the situation. Kiosk: Very good selection, prices are reasonable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. General Store: All products are slightly more expensive than in a supermarket. But perfectly acceptable! Therefore, my tip: Do a big shop at a supermarket outside the camp upon arrival. Then buy everything you need daily at the general store. I think that's fair. You'll find little things you need every day, and you can buy them here. Restaurant: The food at the restaurant is good, and the service is excellent. I find it a shame that there's a surcharge per person for eating in. Wouldn't it be more transparent if this price was simply included in the price of the product you order? To be honest, I was a bit annoyed because I overlooked the service charge. I didn't wonder why everything was so cheap, and suddenly I was looking for the reason why all the food cost more. Accommodation: Excellent! Poolside restaurant: Excellent! Best pizza ever!!!! Horse riding for my daughter was fantastic! Thank you so much!!!!

We stayed at Barricata for 10 days in September. We'd always stayed at Isamar Holiday Village, but we'd wanted to try this place for a while. Let me just say we were more than disappointed. The children weren't allowed to play freely at the pool, and the supervisors were constantly whistling for every little thing. We were also told there was no age restriction for any of the slides, but we were proven wrong. UNFORTUNATELY!!! The service in the shop was also terrible, as we constantly felt unwelcome. Unfortunately, there are many more points I could mention, but I'll leave them aside. In summary, we ended our vacation two days early because we just wanted to go home. And we're not a family that complains a lot, as we just want a nice vacation with our children, which was absolutely not possible here. We will not recommend this campsite.

We've been coming to this resort for five years and have always had a great time. This year we stayed in a Deluxe Safari Tent, but in previous years we've also tried other accommodations; the highlight of almost all the accommodations is the front porches, a space that's very popular in the summer. The resort isn't too big, so you can easily explore on foot. The amenities are excellent: a market, bar, restaurant, and restrooms. And there are soccer fields, tennis courts, paddle tennis, and volleyball courts, as well as a remarkable water park. Beaches with amenities (and some wilder ones) are just steps away.

My husband, our two small dogs, and I stayed there for 10 nights in September 2025. We stayed in one of the very small mobile homes (21 sq m), designed for 5 people. Well, it was suitable for the four of us, but I imagine it would be difficult with 2 children. Our cottage had one bedroom with a double bed and one bedroom with 3 single beds, one of which was attached horizontally to the wall above. We used this room as a "storage room" for my husband's fishing equipment and all sorts of bags and suitcases. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need for everyday cooking. Except... a coffee machine... but we had brought one with us as a precaution, so we had no problems there. What we liked most was the cleanliness of the entire site and the friendly staff. Neither of us speaks Italian, but with friendly smiles and gestures and a little English, we got along with everyone. Many also spoke German, at least rudimentarily, some even very well. We'll definitely be back. We'll be staying in a bigger house, though.

We stayed at the complex for 10 days with a small dog and an electric car. The mobile home we chose had improved amenities – a second refrigerator was included – and the service (bed linens and final cleaning) was also good. There are charging stations on site, and we were able to charge twice as needed without having to wait. There are no rapid chargers, but that's not a problem because you can usually plan your charging. However, more charging stations will probably need to be added in the future. The dog beach was great, as always. Clean and spacious. Although there were many more dogs in the complex and on the beach this year, the complex was clean. So, either all the owners are consistent and clean up all their mess, or the staff are very attentive.
