Nice village with large swimming pools for children and easily accessible beach, not too big as a village

Without prejudice to what was described (happened) 4 years ago (1 star), I returned 3 more times this year, everything was perfect, the restaurant has improved, children's playground and swimming pools are excellent, the shell beach (of the Village) is spacious and cheap (€18 for the day, front row), the only complaint is the lack of education of the beach manager.

We vacationed in a mobile home at Barricata Village in July 2025. The mobile homes are adequately equipped and clean. The air conditioning worked, but the TV didn't. The pool area is great, and our children, ages 3 and 7, were very happy when we arrived. Unfortunately, there was a lifeguard there who really overdid his role. It felt like no one was allowed to slide with him. He always had something to complain about. You were either sitting incorrectly, or you were too young, too old, too tall, or too short. Our 3-year-old daughter was allowed to slide in the morning, but not in the afternoon with this lifeguard. We were directed to the smaller slide tower...but theoretically, this one is only for ages 4 and up. In theory, children under 4 aren't allowed to do anything there. Our daughter was crying...great vacation. Maybe they should consider adjusting the age limit for the slide towers. 5 to 16 is simply excessive. The lifeguard ruined our entire vacation with his whistling. At 6:45 p.m., we were kicked out, even though the signs said the pool was open until 7:00 p.m. But then the staff couldn't finish work on time... The complex is quiet and clean; a road sweeper and a garbage truck drive through every morning. The site is extremely remote, and it takes an hour to get to the nearest small town... Given that, we probably won't be coming back. Remember to bring mosquito repellent, as there are loads of them here!

Great with Kids; many activities, great pools and motivated Kids-staff. The Pizza is good, the noodles are okay. Camping spots are Fine too, but some don’t have a sun shade. The place is at the end of the world, so not many possibilities for excursions. Wouldn‘t recommend for an adult couple, that wants to explore. The prices in the supermarket are great. The showers have just been modernised.

A 5-star campsite that has it all. We camped with our campervan. The bathrooms were brand new and close together. Everything was very well-kept and clean. The entertainment, pools, and overall resort were among the best we've ever stayed at. The sea was close to the resort. The only downside was that there were very few Italians, almost none; most of the guests were foreigners.

It is a good camping site where there is a focus on the family. Lots of swimming opportunities in the different pools. And if you want to go to the sea, the campsite has its own beach with a bar and opportunities to rent sun loungers and parasols. And there is a disco for children in the evening. And there is always good service from the staff.

Clean campsite. A lot of effort is put into keeping the campsite tidy, and rubbish is collected from the cottages daily. Lots of activities are available. The pool is divided into three sections to keep it from getting too crowded. There's a nice shop with everything at reasonable prices.

Large campsite with beautiful pitches and many mobile homes. This is our second time here. Two years ago we stayed in a mobile home and now we're staying with a caravan. The cottages and pitches are very well-maintained and beautiful. The pitches have awnings, which I think is great. The washroom is new and is cleaned very diligently. Fantastic! The campsite is generally very dog-friendly. The beach is very spacious, and even in peak season you don't feel like you're crammed together. The beach bar is fantastic, with a lovely children's playground and very good food. The pool area is very nicely laid out and, thanks to the padding, is perfect for small children. Unfortunately, you had to start looking for loungers very early on, as many of them are taken and hogged, and it's almost impossible to get one when you get to the pool at lunchtime or in the afternoon. A big compliment to the lifeguards, who meticulously ensure that the rules are followed. If you're not looking for a lot of outdoor entertainment, this is the place for you. The Po Delta is definitely worth a boat trip; the flora and fauna are very beautiful. Bring plenty of mosquito repellent 😅.
