Modica Palace In Modica

Aesthetically, the hotel is beautiful, but our experience wasn't the best. When I booked, I wasn't given any options for choosing a room. When we arrived, we were assigned a ground-floor room with a lock that wouldn't lock from the inside, leaving the room open. So, they assigned us the room next door, practically next to the reception, with all the noise you can imagine from early morning until late at night. The icing on the cake was the shower hose that wasn't in its holder because it was broken (obviously, showering with only one hand because the other has to hold the water jet isn't ideal). We reported this and were told they would fix it. What can I say? When we returned at the end of the day, the situation was the same. The next morning, when we left, we reported it again and were told that yes, they knew it was broken. Now I say, I don't think this is behavior typical of a 4-star hotel, I don't even think it's one-star.

Its a nice hotel but at night there was a party/disco. Loud music and we could not sleep.

It's a very nice hotel, with very friendly staff, especially the girls who clean the rooms. I really liked the location, and the pool is a little paradise where you can relax. It's a shame, however, that there wasn't much choice for lunch and breakfast.

Too few staff to take care of such a beautiful hotel. Otherwise, it was very beautiful.

We spent a week at this hotel in Modica and were truly satisfied! The staff was incredibly kind and always available, attentive to our every need. The rich and delicious breakfast was one of the highlights of the day. It was a stay that made us feel at home. We'll definitely be back!

An excellent experience, from the welcome to the helpfulness. Clean and functional rooms, and a lovely pool for relaxing. I highly recommend it.

The air conditioning was broken, and we could only get it working by repeatedly unplugging it and then turning on the fuse. It was annoying at 35 degrees Celsius outside. When we asked to change rooms, they wanted to charge us €50, so we declined. Otherwise, the room and bathroom were a good size. Nice pool and a good selection at breakfast. Also, it's quite remote, so you can't get to the city center without a car.

Comfortable hotel in an excellent location, clean and welcoming with helpful and friendly staff.
