The food is definitely better than initial impressions from the restaurant's appearance might suggest. We found very good flavors here in Palermo, too. The downside is the wine—it's probably cheap, boxed stuff.

Very welcoming atmosphere and delicious food. Each course was better than the last! The zucchini meatballs and moussaka are definitely worth trying. The tzatziki sauce is the perfect accompaniment to every dish. We'll definitely be back to try the rest. Highly recommended!

Today I had lunch with friends and it was a wonderful experience. The place is very welcoming, well-kept, and designed to be relaxing, perfect for unhurried company.
We started with shared appetizers, including excellent zucchini meatballs, light and flavorful. For my first course, I chose spaghetti all'assassina: truly delicious, perfectly cooked and with a bold flavor, just as it should be.
To finish on a sweet note, we had baklava and chocolate and pear cake, both delicious and beautifully presented.
The service was friendly and punctual, always attentive but never intrusive. A place I'd happily return to, whether for good food or to spend a few pleasant hours with friends. Recommended!

Mo' Avast presents itself as a fairly informal place. The atmosphere is almost homey, and the dishes are simple recipes that blend Apulian and Greek cuisine, with results that, in my opinion, aren't entirely satisfying.
The appetizer was octopus meatballs on a bed of hummus, and I must say it was excellent.
For my first course, I had the Greek moussaka, which left me with nothing; I've definitely had better.
For my second course, an off-menu item: cod cooked in milk, onion, and a spice I can't remember. It was basically a soup, and the amount of cod was ridiculous. I'd never order it again.
The service is friendly and approachable.
I recommend this place for anyone looking for a Sunday lunch in a homey, unpretentious atmosphere.

Fabulous!!! Small restaurant with a terrace and a lovely dining room. Italian recipes, typical Puglian dishes and some Greek recipes. Everything is fresh and super good, the portions are huge, the prices are low and the service is super friendly. Several original and balanced options for vegetarians. The best restaurant in Palermo for 32 euros/person!
