The internal environment is welcoming, but the external one which overlooks the Catania fish market is a little less so. The dishes are not all of the same level, I recommend simple dishes because the more elaborate ones (e.g. swordfish rolls) combine flavors that don't go well together. The quality/price ratio is unbalanced: I find the cost of some dishes decidedly excessive.

Very fresh fish, really high quality! Impeccable service, very kind. Fair price for all the delicacies we ate. Recommended for lovers of raw fish, everything is truly delicious. Compliments!!

On the advice of a friend from Catania I had dinner in this small and welcoming restaurant. The owner is friendly and helpful. Excellent quality dishes with very fresh fish. We tried the octopus caponata, the swordfish parmigiana, the sardines with beccafico and the meatballs and tuna sausage. Excellent value for money. Definitely worth returning on our next visit to Catania.

Tonight my family and I had dinner in this restaurant, we felt at home. From the appetizer to the first course and the second courses everything was good, the fish was fresh and cooked well... the staff were attentive and professional. Good value for money. Highly recommended☺️

We ate really well. The portions are very generous and consequently the prices are very honest. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The room is tastefully furnished and pleasant. I highly recommend it.

Excellent dinner! For a Milanese, dining out in the evening without a jacket in mid-November is priceless! Especially with excellent dishes like those offered by this place!

Trattoria Lingua Grossa

26/01/2025: Trattoria in the square, place with few seats. At most thirty. Externally nothing special, but delicious food. Wide choice on the menu, including starters, first courses and second courses. I highly recommend the beef stew. I have never eaten such good meat. Medium-high prices, but correct for the quality. Average service. Promoted!!! 👌
