Overall, the dishes are decent, but I expected better from the catch of the day. Acceptable raw seafood, good mussels, generally generous portions, and slightly high prices. Wide selection of wines.

We walked in on our last night in Sicily and were quite disappointed. The food was okay (we ordered the grilled octopus, pasta alla norma and a salad) but the service was awful. We were seated inside on a table hidden at the side despite there being lots of empty tables. We were then ignored for 20 minutes before anyone served us, and when they did, they barely spoke to us. Our drinks were slammed down onto the table. It all felt very cold and rude unfortunately. The octopus was good but my partner wasn't very impressed with the pasta. For the prices and the reputation, you'd think it would be a bit better. The poor inattentive and unfriendly service just left us feeling bad.

Wonderful outdoor dining experience right in front of the fish market. The grilled octopus was outstanding—unlike anything I’ve had before: incredibly fresh, tender, and just melts in your mouth. The swordfish parmigiana is another must-try.

The food here is full of freshness and flavor. Crudito misto, salad, and fried fish are expertly prepared. The restaurant in the middle of the fish market is magical. We were the only customers for at least 30 minutes at lunch.
Please, dear staff, can you stop your chats behind the scenes—you five people standing around in the restaurant area? Then the atmosphere would be even more inviting. Thank you!

De gerechten zijn smaakvol en mooi opgemaakt, met aandacht voor detail. De menukaart biedt voldoende variatie en de kwaliteit van het eten is constant goed. De bediening is vriendelijk en weet op een prettige manier aanwezig te zijn. Alles verloopt vlot en zonder haast, wat bijdraagt aan een ontspannen sfeer. Het interieur is stijlvol maar niet overdreven, wat het geheel toegankelijk maakt. Een geslaagde avond uit, met goed eten en service die klopt. Zeker een plek om nog eens te bezoeken.
