My colleagues and I stopped at this restaurant several times during our stay in Catania. What can I say? The food is wonderfully delicious, all accompanied by the kindness of the staff. I highly recommend trying their tuna steak—never tasted so good in my entire life! Also, the fried calamari, the sardines a beccafico, and last but not least, the caponata, both the original version and the one with octopus are delicious. You can taste the love they put into preparing each dish using local, fresh ingredients in every bite. I will definitely be back during my next stay in Catania ♥️

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, with some of the highlights being the sardines, mussels and fish skewer. To complete the meal, we had the best tiramisu we‘ve ever eaten, which had a perfect consistency and flavour balance. Would highly recommend

Food was amazing! The tuna steak was the runaway winner! The serving is for sharing. The customer service? Very civil. Will we come back? Mm… maybe, if we weren’t tourists.

Very nice restaurant with fresh and delicious fish. We had a mix of crudi di pesce, Grilled Octopus, Caponata and grilled Swordfish.
Everything was very tasty.
The price is little higher than usual, but worth it.

Overall, the dishes are decent, but I expected better from the catch of the day. Acceptable raw seafood, good mussels, generally generous portions, and slightly high prices. Wide selection of wines.

We walked in on our last night in Sicily and were quite disappointed. The food was okay (we ordered the grilled octopus, pasta alla norma and a salad) but the service was awful. We were seated inside on a table hidden at the side despite there being lots of empty tables. We were then ignored for 20 minutes before anyone served us, and when they did, they barely spoke to us. Our drinks were slammed down onto the table. It all felt very cold and rude unfortunately. The octopus was good but my partner wasn't very impressed with the pasta. For the prices and the reputation, you'd think it would be a bit better. The poor inattentive and unfriendly service just left us feeling bad.
