Mm!! Street Food In Catania

A real street food place, simple but efficient service and above all spectacular food quality. I was there two evenings trying different dishes and everything had a real flavour, well-defined and balanced flavours. Carmelo manages the place with great skill and is helped at the tables by a very nice guy... Sherif To be recommended!!

Highly recommended! Simple place but with amazing quality of food. Very fresh fish, perfectly cooked and prepared dishes, balanced, fragrant, tasty but never excessive. Truly a splendid encounter with truly good Catania cuisine. And all at perfectly adequate prices. Carmelo then prepares a unique tuna bottarga. All in a cheerful atmosphere and with excellent music.

Top sicilian experience - tuna meatballs and grilled octopus made it to the top rated foods I've ever tried. Price - best value so far in sicily. Will come back for one last dinner before flying.

We came across this restaurant in search of seafood. There was no problem that it was 10 p.m. We ordered squid, shrimp, octopus, the young waiter said there was no seafood mix, water and 4 drinks. Suddenly, shrimps and a mix of seafood appear on our table, followed by more shrimps and octopus. Surprised, we started tasting the dishes, I asked the man in the service in a long black apron that there had been a mistake (we didn't order mix because the waiter said he didn't have any). The man smiled and said something to the waiter with a smile and to us that this mistake wouldn't cost us ANYTHING, we got it for free and that's what happened. The bill was 130 euros for 6 people, we were very full. Everything was delicious, only the price of 14 euros for three large and 3 small shrimps was a high price. However, everything else was very good and unremarkable. If I were to come back here, I would definitely come back. I greet the elderly gentleman with glasses who said goodbye to me very nicely. Regards and recommend.
