A delightful dinner at Misun La Font, where authentic Piedmontese cuisine is delivered with finesse and warmth. Excellent ingredients, well-balanced flavours, and careful execution throughout, combined with a welcoming atmosphere, made for an enjoyable experience, deeply rooted in local flavours. First of all, the location is classy, a 40-minute walk from Sestriere, with a wine list from Marais to Paris and a menu focused on reinterpretations of the main local dishes. Attentive and responsive service. A place you wouldn't expect to visit in this area. Brave and courageous.

Price creates expectation, and here those expectations were dashed.
The restaurant, despite its charming setting, in my opinion failed to justify the final bill. The food, to be fair, was good, but it didn't reach the level of excellence I personally expected from a restaurant with similar prices. A bill like that raises high expectations (at least for me), but the experience, unfortunately, didn't meet them.
Of the courses we sampled, the appetizer was the tastiest and most unique, a strong point that gave me hope. On the other hand, the first course didn't entirely convince me. In my opinion, it was lacking in flavor and, above all, the portion was extremely small. I certainly don't expect trattoria-style portions, but not even two forkfuls of pasta.
I believe the small portions are a deliberate choice to encourage people to order a second course and dessert, thus completing the meal. The problem is that, if we had added more courses, the bill would have become truly exorbitant. In fact, with just two appetizers and two first courses, we left still hungry, paying €84 (a figure that also includes €16 for two glasses of wine).
As for the rest, the wine list is extensive, even if the markup is significant. The service is youthful and unremarkable, neither positive nor negative.
In conclusion, while I don't want to discourage this place, my personal perception is that the final bill isn't justified by the quality-price ratio. This is obviously my opinion, and other palates or habits might have a more positive response, but based on my experience, I recommend carefully evaluating it before choosing.

Fantastic location. This part of Sestriere is also within walking distance with a half-hour walk. I recommend going around 6:30 PM, having an aperitivo outside to enjoy the view, and then dining inside at 7 PM. The tagliatelle with venison was average. The tagliatelle with Toma Blu cheese was better. The vegetarian dishes are so-so, not very exciting in flavor. The prices are quite high and the portions are small. To be satisfied, you'll need at least two dishes per person, spending around €50 per person, including wine. There are two evening sittings: from 7 PM and 9 PM.

Very pleasant culinary experience. The location is superb, in a beautiful mountainside village and the food is truly tasty, delicious 😋. The service is impeccable and the wine list offers a very wide selection of quality. I find the prices very reasonable considering the quality received. We will return with great pleasure.
